A truly fantastic professor. His class can be challenging if you get behind on due dates, Ive had him for History and Gov, but he gives plenty of time and is not very strict on grading. The material is basic politics and government but the work challenges your beliefs at times which was incredibly interesting. Overall good guy.

Comment:

Great professor. Just participate in the discussions and make sure to follow along with the material. One paper is due in the middle of the semester and he is pretty lenient in grading it. Otherwise, study the vocabulary and be sure to be ready for the quizzes. The tests are almost exactly same as the quizzes. Studying those is key to success.

He was so hard to work with. Right after skidding through a chapter he'd automatically give us a pop quiz. No time to study and right before class was supposed to end. When I took a quick look at the pop quiz I changed my mind and asked if I can study & take both pop quizzes on Thurs. and he said no. So I walked out and switched to a diff HIS prof.

Great teacher, had twice, would have taken him more if I new him before my last year. Funny guy and he will talk to you just for conversation and people make his class harder than it is, he gives you every possibility to get an American, and you have fun doing it.

I loved professor Schultz. I had him for history & pol. Science last semester & they were the only two classes I didn't dread. Mind you, I HATE history & politics but he made it great. Extremely fair with test grading because he gives more questions than you actually need to answer. Overall I loved his classes & wish I could take his courses again

He's a really nice guy, class moves really fast though. He give a lot of online assignments, which I don't like, but he is fair in his grading and will help you if you need it. He really does want you to do well. I would take him again just because I like him as a person. Be prepared to dedicate a lot of time to his class, especially Vietnam.

Jeff Schultz is the MAN!! One of the best teachers I have ever had in my life. He is a great person, very intelligent and he really cares about his students. Schultz wants you to do well and gives you every opportunity to do so.

Cool teacher. Makes the class fun. Gives a quiz almost everyday on chapter terms like 17 chapters worth 10 pts each drops worst 5. Define 5 of 8 terms for 5 pts then write about a cartoon for last 5 pts. Easy 120 pts. Exams are big but he gives you room for error like answer 15 of 20 then 20 of 30 and a few essays. 1 pap/3pgs. Attend class get an A

What a guy. I hated history before attending this class. Professor Schultz made learning fun and interesting. If every teacher were more like him, colleges across the United States would be packed. He draws from life experience and historic facts and combines them in a dynamic and informative fashion. Professor Schultz, YOU ARE AWSOME!

his tests are so easy! you only have to get a percentage of the questions right, say 15/20, to receive full credit in history till 1877. He is hilarious, and actually made the class fun to be in. great man. funny and interesting. i would suggest taking him.

Great teacher to take if you like to participate in class and learn. Participation is part of getting your grade. Besides if you don't participate willingly he will make you:) Good guy but tests are bit difficult(if you don't study). Heads up. always write more for your assignments and don't fall short of the half page or page requirments.

I took a vietnam class with this teacher and he was the best! I had absolutly no knowledge or interest in history until i took this class. His tests are a little hard, but he gives alot of extra credit. Hes really cute too!

History 259 "Vietnam" was an awesome class. Schultz covered a lot of material in a short amount of time, but was never overwhelming with assignments and tests. Schultz is a great prof and understands his students very well. He will give you a break IF you deserve one. Show up for class, pay close attention, and participate - you'll get an A.
