He is an incredible professor. He is intelligent and passionate, but also takes time to make sure students understand the material. He goes through things slowly and clearly and is willing to review. The class is hard but he makes you want to study and makes you interested. His jokes are corny but so great. I loved him and would take him again!

VERY VERY VERY nice professor. He clearly knows what he's talking about, and clearly wants to help his students. All throughout genetics I had a lot of trouble (They're really hard concepts,) but he explained them well and was very open with office hours. His tests are hard, but the test curves are amazing. You won't be disappointed.

Not the best of teachers. No visuals, not a very loud voice. He's very intelligent no doubt, but for someone who needs supplementary materials to help study, you're probably going to fail the class. Definitely needs to change his teaching style a bit to keep more people interested and to help kids understand the material better.

Good course for modern biology. Covers wide range of concepts. Recommend a recorder. It is a demanding course. Exams are not too bad. I would visit with him often to answer questions on exams you felt were correct.

Dr. Golin is very well versed in everything he speaks about. He loves what he does but his class is definitely difficult with the amount of material that has to memorized. He is very flexible and loves to help and accomadate his students. Definitely a teacher worth experiencing whether you're premed, biology major or any other major!!

He is very Good, but in 106 he will give alot of information that will not necessarily be on the test!!!! Also for 106 he will just tell you to study everything for the test!!! Genetics (207) is just difficult material, but Dr. Golin is good at explaining it.

Dr. Golin is a brilliant teacher who has mastery of the material and really has a desire to help you. I had an F halfway through the semester and he helped me raise it to a C+. I've never had a better prof. His class is very tough, but it's worth it.
