Is a very nice man. Teaching wise, i have no words. The labs are very hard along with tests. Tests would be easier if there was a study guide provided (which he does not do). Also all he does is read word for word by the powerpoint... this class is very hard. I have been a straight A student my entire life and I currently have a D in his class.....

His class was pointless. Literally, all he did was read the powerpoints provided by the textbook. His tests were anywhere between 130-175 questions. It was awful. I will never, ever take him again, and I suggest you never do either.

The hardest class i have ever had in my 3 college yers. Test are 100 questions w no study guide. Hes a nice man but has favs. Study!!! I wouldnt take this EVER again

Dr. Mattox is AWESOME! He is funny and interesting. He takes a great deal of detailed material and brings it down to the students level of understanding. Because of his A & P classes, I am a better Biology student. Read the Textbook and keep up in class and you will do fine. Take his class if you can.

Dr. Mattox is the kind of person that you respectfully call Dr. He is the most helpful of any instructor I have ever had the pleasure of being around. Take him if you can he knows what he is doing and will be sure you understand clearly. You are the best keep up the good work Dr. Mattox.
