Comment:
This class makes me want to cry. Extremely boring and disorganized. Says she wants assignments in a certain day, a certain way, and then switches it. Has happened 3 times this semester. Everyone is confused by her assignments. Also only assigns books by white people. And wastes a ton of paper printing huge single-sided poem packs that we never read

Great English professor, Agoos loves to engage with her students, always asking and answering our questions when needed. Gives great feedback on your paper work for improvement, and at least an essay per 1-2 weeks. Not much. She asks you to buy a small text book, not much, and not much used in class, its more for 1012. Group work, talks alot. :)

his teacher was said to be easy and interesting but she wasn't, she was very boring and liked to talk a lot about nothing a lot of reading, hard grader and doesn't give good grades, she also gives a lot of no credits, she seems nice but she's not, she expects harvard level essays because she graduated there, DON'T TAKE HER!!!

Professor Agoos is the right professor for you if, and only if, you do the workload. With one poem a week, you should be ready to tackle her assignments with ease. If you intend on doing any less than a poem per week: you don't belong in poetry class. Agoos appreciates the use of prose writing (attn FICTION) and helps you break pesky rhyme schemes.

A very awesome professor. She is one of the most encouraging I have had. Her classes are very very intersting, she holds your attention throughout the entire class. She gives a lot of assignment but it sure makes you a better writer, she is just a wonderful person. I recommend her all the way.

I have to admit in the beggining I despised her, and thought she was nitpicking at everything, but she only does that to help improve our writing skills. Overall, I think she is a good teacher, while there is a lot of reading and writing, it works to improve our skills.

Take her if you're a serious poet. She is very sophisticated in poetry (BA Harvard) and is a fair grader. I enjoyed these two classes very well, I just wish she had more courses for students to take =T
