Comment:

The absolute best teacher I have ever had!! She is so nice, doesn't care if you're late. She won't mind if you're not there, but with a math class, it's smart to be there because she shows you easier tricks to do the work! She's really down to earth and if you need help, just ask.

I took professor Francavilla for 1025 in class and she was great. Very sweet and caring professor so I thought she would be just as caring for an online class, but I was wrong. It is so hard to communicate with her because she rarely replies to her emails. Don't take her for online classes, definitely take her for 1025 if you want an easy A.

Comment:

Best Teacher I've ever had. I had her Fall'16 and Spring of '17 granted she did miss class for family/health emergency I think she was and will always be the best professor I've ever had. Very kind and sweet and would always be willing to go the extra mile to make sure you got the best grade possible I've had her 3/5 of my math classes TAKE HERE.

The class was going along great but the last month was brutal. She was absent the entire last month and it was up for the subs to try and teach us. We got screwed on the final and never knew our grade in the class until it showed on the transcripts. The class however was pretty easy before that. A lot of extra credit. Would take her again.

Comment:

Mrs. Francavilla was my favorite teacher at the beginning of the semester. She was a really good teacher and I was finally getting trig. Unfortunally she got sick and we had a substitude for the rest of the semester.I had an A+ after final I had a B, she never posted the grades and were not able to calculate the grades. I won't take her again.

She is an amazing teacher. A few of us took her for all our math classes since she is so wonderful. Being an earlier morning class, she brought her personal coffee maker and let us get coffee. She is such a caring person. Reach out to her if you are struggling, I am sure she would love to help. She is one of my favorite teachers that I have taken

Prof. Francavilla was very difficult to work with. She would take a long time to respond to emails & was often absent from her office. Tests were harder than the quizzes and homework. I had an A in the class & after my midterm and final was graded, my grade was a C. Bummed she didn't grade my midterm earlier so I knew what to expect on the final.

She would constantly cancel class last minute. I get she was having family issues but it's not right to cancel it last minute a good 6 classes at a time. Nothing would be done as in grading. She would tell us one thing one day and change her mind the next. She said the final was not going to be cumulative, guess what it is. Would not take again.

Mrs. Francavilla is never in class and waits until the last day to grade and give back all quizzes and tests. She is very unorganized and does not properly prepare you for her tests or the final.

She rarely shows up to class. By rarely I mean about 50% of the time. Tests are graded weeks later and don't expect grades from quizzes... ever. Homework is online and she will re open them as requested. Tests aren't terrible but, as previously stated, she rarely shows up

She's just amazing, after failing this class before with a different professor because I had to leave the country do to my grandmothers death I was nervous to re take it. She cares about her students and is willing to meet with you if needed.

She is a very sweet lady and is glad to explain anything you have trouble with. I would definitely take her again for any math class. She posts reviews just like the test and if you do them and get an 80 you get 10 pts. extra credit added. She takes a while to grade tests and cancels class a lot but other than that she's a great professor.

She's a really sweet lady and overall her class is very fair and pretty easy. I was taking trig for the first time with her and I'm not a math fan but she made things clear. She definitely sets you up for success but you have to earn it!

She is a very kind, caring teacher. She gives out free quizzes which help your grade a lot. She'll go over something again in class. All you have to do is not be scared and speak up. There isn't a lot of homework either. Great class!!

Great teacher! If you do the homework and put some effort into the reviews you will pass. All work is done on my math lab. No text book required. She is very clear and is more than willing to answer any questions. Great teacher.

This teacher is sub par. She's not very good as teaching her subject area. She often tells you she'll help but is 99% "busy" every time you ask for help. I do not recommend her, I'm unsure how so many people have a great experience. Maybe my semester was an anomaly? I would not take her classes ever again.

I normally suck at math and Prof Francavilla actually made sense to me! Her lectures are very clear, and as long as you show up, pay attention, and do the homework you'll pass. She's really caring and understands that you have classes and commitments outside of her class. If you talk to her she'll work something out for you! PS DO THE EXAM REVIEWS!

Comment:

I'm exceptional at math, but I didn't click with the teacher's teaching style. There was a lot of things that I did not understand when she taught, and had to teach myself on MyMathLab. She often misses classes, and isn't always clear when she does cancel class. It's not a bad class, and I'm neutral on whether I recommend it or would take again.
