Had Dr. Moore twice since he came back from mission field. He's my favorite Bible professor. Always goes straight to the text for answers. Crafts lessons wonderfully; makes learning exciting. Knows the Scriptures. Often provides you with GREAT material he has developed, but never haughty about it. Very kind/helpful. Funny with a dry sense of humor.

Acts of the Apostles. Gives study guides straight from the material. Easy class. Enjoyable if you like history and Bible. Very easy to work with. Lots of MVTs, mostly short pieces. Requires that you keep a notebook, so figure that out beforehand. No reports or anything. Oral quizzes from the book, but that's pretty much it.

This teacher attempted to slay a dragon of material with a 16 oz squirt gun and managed to oversimplify the material in the process. Instead of conceptualizing the material, he tried to survey the whole corpus of New Testament critical material and his students only suffered because of this.

I have enjoyed being in Mr. Moore's class. I was in his "Acts of the Apostles" class. It's a class that covers roughly the first 30 years of the Christian movement. He's very easygoing and has been my favorite teacher @ Freed so far.
