To be honest; this class was pretty awful. Despite this being a conversation class and receiving an "S" we barely conversed and I feel like my spanish suffered. The whole phonetics part of class seemed really unnecessary to the improvement of my spanish skills and speaking. **Also she grades extremely tough and without reason**

she's a pretty good teacher but there is a lot of work, esp for this class involving watching movies. not too many papers, a couple short oral presentations, but a lot of political stuff regarding the us/mexico border relations. overall not super difficult, but you should do the work.

Read between 75-100 pages per class (TR). Lots of reading, but also interesting. She's always helpful outside of class. Make sure you participate. Plus she really is a lot of fun. :)

I found her to be very hard to understand. She goes really fast and doesn't have respect for the students. High school teacher at heart. Won't curve or let you take your tests out.

Not a bad teacher. Easy class, not much outside reading and easy tests. She also favors guys in her classes.
