I absolutely hated public speaking and took this as my last class before graduation and he made this class so enjoyable. Just be sure to show up, make your speeches, and do your homework and you will pass. He has an amazing sense of humor and will always entertain you throughout class.

Great class! Very funny, show up and make an effort for an easy grade! Time flies, always lets out on time, and isnt what you'd expect from a speech class. Leaves speech topics very open so you can pick something you're interested in. I'd recommend him to anyone!

Marty is absolutely amazing. Film Crit was among my favorite classes of his to take, and I actually took it over the summer. He even REWARDS you for doing well on your papers w/ his infamous mason jars, and if you get first place, you get a Hershey bar. He's amazing! Now he's at Simpson. :(

Take this class. Feeney is among my favorite profs ever. His excitement for film will get you excited about it. You can interpret the films in your own ways and he's cool with it. I loved going to class every day, and we got to watch really good movies.
