Comment:

Fargnoli is one of my top favorite professors. He is clearly passionate about what he does and puts in effort, so as long as you put in effort you will get a good grade. Attendance is mandatory however if you have to miss class or an assignment give him notice and he will be understanding. He also gives a clear layout of exams/essays.

Comment:

Detailed, dedicated, and does not disappoint! Dr. Fargnoli is a wealth of knowledge and is super passionate on every subject he lectures on. He expects a lot, more than other professors, but shouldnt we be expecting more from ourselves, as learners? Hes old school and in my opinion, thats a good thing.

If you have him for Ethics, get ready to read. He assigns readings from his two books and the exams are based off of readings from his book on Moral Grounds. You are going to be assigned a partner to present with and you both will have to do a joint paper. He grades hard, walks around during exams, and he counts participation.

Very Knowledgeable guy. The class can be long and boring but he is clear with the grading criteria. He tells you the questions for the exam, so pay attention and take notes. Don't skip class. When he tells you the questions, go back and read the related pages in the two books and make your answers to study for the test!

Very intelligent, lectures the ENTIRE class. Nice man, but goes overboard on the topic. Exams are ALL blue book and he is a VERY tough grader. I enjoyed the class, but I wish I would have read more of his reviews because I never would have taken this class!

Honestly, don't take the class. He keeps you the entire 5 hours during the intercession class with only 10 minutes of a break. He is very condescending and he is very opinionated. He doesn't allow phones or eating while in class. He is a very tough grader and he is very into his work. Overall, the movies we watched weren't bad but the class sucked

This professor makes this course very difficult. Lots of assignments, tough grader. Very intelligent, cares about helping the students, but you must work very hard. He takes attendance before class and after breaks, no beeping sounds such as beepers, cell phones, no chewing gums , no food can only drink water in class.

Do not take this class I'm sure that there are plenty of other professors that teach ethics in a way thats easier to understand. You read out of his own book the entire time so its his own definitions and views on ethics. So if your answers don't match his in the book to the T its wrong in his eyes. Also very hard grader.

Dr. Fargnoli is an extremely brilliant professor, this class can be rather hard and demanding but if you care about your education you will certainly find value with him. Take advantage of the opportunity, you will agree that he is one of the smartest teachers you will ever have.

Love this guy. Definitely take him if you can for theology credit, he is a genius. I honestly don't think you will find a better theology class than his. I mean, it's up to you. You can take theology classes at Molloy with annoying priests and nuns or take it with someone who is civil. I'd choose Fargnoli over the rest any day.

this guy knows his stuff. his classes are long but its worth every minute. at the beginning he may come off as a tough guy but he's not. after a few classes, he shows full length movies. bring pop corn.

Informative and interesting. Tough grader essay only. Be prepared to write. Winter session 4 and a half hour class he fails to not fill a minute without information. Never dull but long. Ends class with a poem. If you want a challenging and interesting class take it. If you are looking for an easy way out, don't.

Mr Fargnoli is one of the best men i have ever known. he's very insightful and you can just tell he's been many places and knows lots of things. i took his ethics class, and despite how much he knows, does not make you feel lower. he gives you credit for your hard work . i would take him again. the crash course went by so quick!

Dr. Fargnoli is excellent! He is extremely intelligent but doesn’t by any means make you feel inferior. His classes are interesting and extremely lively. At one point he even rapped in class (if you can picture that)!

One of the best professors I had. I took him for several classes because I liked him so much. I would recommend taking him for an english class over Ethics. He is always very well prepared and worth the money you spend on the class

Dr. Fargnoli is a brilliant and funny professor! I had him for 2 classes so far, and he is very interesting. The people on here who don't like him are probably just lazy and didn't want to learn. Take a class with him if you can!
