Comment:
Be sure to READ THE TEXT BOOK. Rely heavily on the book when studying for tests. Spill all of the information you can think of for each of the cases he lists and how they relate to the concepts. Don't worry about paying TOO close attention to the lectures, they will not help you on the test. They're generally just a string of tangents.

Comment:
One of the hardest classes ever!! The professor is very laid back but his exams are not. He expects detail and knowledge of the subject at hand. Do yourself a favor and read the text book. If you want to go to law school, Provizer is best suited to prepare you. He knows a lot about Con Law, so don't expect to know what he doesnt.

Norman doesn't teach Leadership and Social Change, Gretta Mincer does. She is not a real teacher. This class is painful. It is boring and a total waste of money. save yourself.

Comment:
Dr. Provizer is extremely knowledgeable and it comes through in his lectures. Also very laid back in class. But don't mistake his attitude for his testing requirement. He wants DETAILS and SPECIFICS in your answers. Has a tendency to get off on tangents and notes can be hard to take when that happens. Definitely use the book to help study!!

Smart guy, BUT kind of a bore. I probably could have skipped class, read the books, wrote the papers, and still have gotten a good grade. Not a big fan of his presentation style; Could be better in terms of pacing and amount of insightful thoughts.

Dr. Provizer is a good person and a decent professor. Can't say his lectures were very captivating but he isn't the worst. Pretty hard class but if he can do his American Con. Law class you do well in any others as well. Read the chapters and definitely come to every class. Make sure you study hard for his essay tests because they aren't easy.

Best professor I've encountered at MSCD. Teaches free of political bias, although his lectures contain "emanations and penumbras" of libertarianism. He's not too elite to have a smoke with you after class, either.

Good guy, poorly structured classes. Be careful, his exams are harder than his attitude implies. He doesn't prepare the students well for exams.

consider it a treat to have this ivy league professor at metro; considered by many to be pillar of the school; very tolerant of student's views; does a good job of using relevant historical material with current political events
