Comment:

Straight forward class. Discussion or reflection essay every week, one project, midterm and final. As long as you submit all the assignments on time you get full credit. The tests were not difficult but required knowledge from the readings. The project was incredibly simple. The professor responds to emails quickly. Easy A!

Comment:

Super easy grader. I almost felt like if you turned in the assignment youd get an A automatically; the quality of your work didnt matter as much. Super long modules and lots of reading. Essays every other week, tons of reflecting. Instructions unclear but she answered any questions promptly.

easy class. I never really went or did any work and got a C, so if I applied myself I know I wouldve done better. great teacher and loved hearing her lecture! she was very interesting and always had us do group discussions. nothing was hard

The class itself was super easy. You do the assignments and you get an A. HOWEVER, the class was extremely disorganized and the instructions for assignments could be extremely difficult to find. She also rarely got back to you and when she did it could be a week plus when she did. Don't recommend this professor.

Comment:

Very easy class. Just follow modules, read required text, and participate in discussions/essays. Can usually do the entire week's module in a day. Midterm & Final are easy and based on modules & textbook. If you want full points on assignments, just follow rubrics exactly. 1 Group Project, harder setting up than the actual work required. Easy A

The information Professor Heisser-Metoyer teaches is very interesting. It's a hybrid class so you'll be learning in class and doing assignments through Canvas. PAY ATTENTION to other's group presentations because some of the info they share WILL be on the midterm & final. If you do the work (which is not hard) you'll pass. Amazing teacher & class

Kind of an odd class to take. Our class schedule was sporadic and we had an entire month dedicated to just our group project presentations. Our online material ended after about two months into the course and the rest of the lectures took place in person. As long as you meet the word/page requirements for the essays/discussions you'll live.

One of the best professors at UNLV. She is a lenient grader but the work she assigns is important and insightful. All the work that you do in this class is online and you have an entire week to do it before having to turn it in. Its really hard to fail this class so you won't regret taking it.

Super easy class. She was gone a lot so we didn't have many in class lectures. Easy grader and little work to be done. A few online discussions and quizzes and a group media project at the end.

I took both of the classes she teaches. She teaches classes early in the morning, and I beat her there. She is a positive and happy person. Lot of reading and work but she makes it fun to learn. I learned a lot about me too. I wish she had more classes for me to take. Love this prof :)

Honestly one of the best professors I have had at UNLV. She was very kind and extremely passionate about her lectures. There were quite a few assignments, but overall everything was very straightforward. ALL of our homework was done online (as well as the midterm and final). I will definitely be taking her again!

Patricia was such a sweet and easy teacher. All tests and assignments were online. Attend class because she takes participation points and there are in-class assignments. Overall Easy A!!

Go to class do the online modules due every Sunday night and you are guaranteed an A. Don't do those things and Professor Heisser gives you ample opportunity to make it up.

This class was hybrid so we met in class only once a week and the rest was online. Prepare yourself for a lot of essays and discussions. In class, she doesn't really teach. Instead she made the class split into groups and present course mater for an entire class period. As in one group lectured for an entire 60 minutes for 7 weeks.

Dr. HM is great!!! Some of the students do not have a clue they do not read but have opinions on every topic. The prof is patient and listens.
