Very easy instructor. I received an "A" final grade, even though I've never been able to understand ANYTHING AT ALL about statistics. The sample problems Jacobsen goes over in class will show up on his exams with slightly different wording. So just study and practice the sample problems over and over and you'll pass the course, guaranteed!

I was having a tough time in his class but I started going to his office hrs. and he helped me a lot! I got an A for the class. He is super helpful. It is easy to get an if you try. All you have to do is study the exam samples.

Worst class I've ever taken. Pointless, waste of time, you WILL NOT learn anything. Perry needs to retire, his teaching skills are a joke. Nicest man every, but horrible horrible teacher. If you want to get a easy A, but learn literally NOTHING take this class, it's for you.

The absolute best teacher for this subject. He is unbelievably nice, friendly & just flat out awesome. Gives a practice exam that will more than prepare you for the exam, if you pay attention. He is an absolute joy for a subject that will probably loathe, but won't be so bad with him as your teacher!

Stats is a difficult subject but Professor Jacobson makes a difficult subject understandable. He is VERY SUPPORTIVE of his students & He is willing to HELP YOU. He is INCREDIBLY KNOWLEDGEABLE and KIND. He PREPARES YOU for every exam. Just make the effort(STUDY)& you will pass. You will learn so much from him.

very very VERY helpful teacher. i didnt know ANYTHING at first, and was confused for the first few weeks of class. but after going to his office hours, he taught me everything i needed to know and i ended up getting A's on all the exams. highly reccommend this teacher because if u dont know much about stats, he'll always be there to help u learn it

The first couple of weeks are confusing and frustrating..he is difficult to understand at times! But, stick it out and you'll find instructor to be very fair, helpful and wants you to do well. His practice tests guarantee an "A" if you just do them!!!

Dr. Jacobson is extremely nice, helpful and fair-minded. He provides the students with sample exams that will give you a chance to practice for the midterms and finals. He made basic statistics understandable and bearable for me. Also, he always treats his students with respect. Highly recommended.

He doesn't take attendence. In Stats, he gives you a pretest which almost exactly like the actual test. Just study the pretest and you will do well. Come to class the week before your test (to the review) and u will do ok. He is not easy.
