Comment:

Despite how you feel about Dr. Cooley, you will learn and retain a lot from this class. You won't remember everything after a year, simply because Dr. Cooley teaches a lot of material in just a semester. It's an interesting class but it is difficult in that there's a lot you have to memorize and be able to explain clearly. I enjoyed every class.

The smartest professor that I have ever had. The tests are very hard, but the class discussions will teach you more about finance than any book.

Comment:

Outstanding professor. Financial Mgmt and Policy is the most valuable class for a Finance major. Interesting and engaging. However, despite being a great professor, Dr. Cooley is very unhelpful and arrogant outside of class, and doesn't care to guide students who want to know more.

Fantastic teacher and definitely knows what he is saying. The material is kind of tough and some questions on the test can be hazy. Expects effort from the students.

This is a great class. The tests are long and hard but you learn a lot. Cooley is good in class but acts like he is too good to help sometimes. Good class overall though.

Dr. Cooley rocks!!! This man is a genius and good teacher on top of it(a rare combination). He wants the best for all of his students and is willing to go out of his way to help you. He is a fair grader. One of the best classes I have ever taken.

Comment:

Student Managed Fund is one of the most usefull classes. The hands on approach to investing is great. Not many places give the students a real investment account to manage.
