Dr. Feden is great! It's easy to tell how much he loves teaching & that he cares about his students! At times, his organizers/sheets given for homework overcomplicate the topic. The workload can be a lot, but if you try to keep up with it & communicate with him, you'll be fine. Would recommend him! He's the kind of teacher to aspire to be like!

really understanding professor and interesting class. he really cares about the students and whether they understand the material or not. there are quite a few HW assignments but they are pretty straightforward if you read the textbook. tests are not simply a matter of memorizing the text but understanding the concepts. overall, great teacher.

Dr. Feden is an excellent professor both in and out of class. I had to take this class as a requirement (and didn't know much about/ wasn't super interested in it before registering) and it was a pleasant surprise. There is a significant amount of work but very interesting. More of a sociology class than anything.

Quite possibly the greatest professor I've ever had. I've been teaching 5 years now, and not a day goes by that I don't use something I learned from him. If you think his class is too hard, you're never going to make it as a teacher. Yes, it's hard...but you LEARN.
