Comment:

Avoid if you can. She is a hard grader, disorganized, late for each class, missed classes without informing you. Hardly understood her lecture. She is easy in general but messes your GPA at the end.

She is a good teacher but she's always late, sometimes absent without notice, which sucks. Gets off track with stories that have nothing to do with the discussion and falls behind schedule. Just read the books and understand each novel and you should pass. No assignments were given except a paper comparing two stories we've read.

She was late a lot, sometimes even 15-20 minutes. She is very disorganized and fell behind schedule a lot. She easily goes off topic and the class time goes by without her teaching the material. Her English is very difficult to get used to. Her exam and papers were easy though.The class is very boring and I barely learned anything.Easy class though

She is truly a gem. Her articulate and invigorating style of teaching make difficult assignments seem facile and fun. She is hilarious, entertaining, and encouraging. Had I the chance, I'd take her again.

I was pretty scared taking her at the beginning because of all the negative reviews. Trust me: she isn't that bad. Sure you wont get the midterm back until 2 weeks before classes end, sure she is late every single day and randomly absent, and sure her class is boring as hell. But when all is said and done, she's an easy A. Just suck it up people...

BRILLIANT! Her accent does not take away form the learning experience at all. Pay attention and you will learn. She does lose focus a lot, but she is cool & you just need to remind her to stay track. She only loses focus bcs she has so much she wants to share in regards 2 her knowledge. Her lateness is getting better. Overall you will learn a lot!

What a great instructor. Those of you who complain about her accent just listen in class and if you don't understand something she said, just ask her to repeat it and she will. She is very helpful and has a wealth of information. Try talking to her one and one. All you have to do is read and show up, you will pass with an A. Both exams are easy.

hmm...it's true she's late and absent a lot, made me think she's ill or sumthing. She's absolutely hysterical if u listen closely and catch her jokes.Good books for the class, and great insight into the literature, Mostly she needs help staying focused...or think of class more like a hang out session and it's fun. easy, but potentially frustrating.

This teacher is very irresponsible. She always comes late to class and never tells us ahead of time that she will be absent. The books she chose were interesting but she has an accent and it's sometimes hard to understand her. That takes away from the experience of the class. The midterm was really easy though and so was the paper.

This wasn't suppose to be a comedy show! It was a class and this isn't the broken english class either... all you hear is blah blah blah buh blah blah! I'm sure that Africa and Haiti has some interesting history, but she made it a big snooze rest session. Grades are given easy though... nothing hard about this class other than some reading...

Someone needs to put a stop to the French vernacular. She is never on time and always has a parking problem that prevents her from getting to class on time. Professor is close minded with class dissussions. She is always knoes best. Moreover, comes late and keeps the class late or just decides to play sick.

She is a very easy grader but you really have to do the readings. She is always late for class and constantly absent. Although you can't really understand her-she is kind of funny. She assumes you have prior knowledge of the information that she is teaching and being that I didn't, I usually didn't follow what she was saying.
