She's got a nice personality and is helpful. Her class is a lot of work, but you leave it knowing everything backwards and forwards. Do the homework and STUDY A LOT (her tests are tough). One of my favorite classes this semester.

If you're considering taking her for advanced research, I'd highly recommend it. She's extremely helpful, and always available outside of class. She knows what she's talking about, very sweet, but don't get me wrong, she's NOT an easy teacher! She'll make you work for it but you walk away with a full understanding and sense of accomplishment after!

first...advanced research is a very time consuming class and is difficult. you have to read a ton of journal articles which is hard. the professor is nice and helpful, but really knows her stuff so can be a bit too hard sometimes. i would never want to go through this class again!!! but if you have to take it, take it with McElwee

I took her for research in social psych the class is tough but she is very helpful. Book is required, 3-4 exams all book & lecture material. Theres a research report paper thats rather difficult, must attend class to understand material. She is very helpful with the paper and will meet with you privately. Makes approtunity for extra credit.

I had her for two research classes and she is by far the greatest professor teaching at Rowan. She is extremely friendly and helpful. She never makes you feel like the work is too hard for you and she is always nice about meeting for extra help.

The tests were easy as long as you look at the chapter and your notes. It wasn't that hard. It was multiple choice. She's very helpful in the research paper. Welcomes students to her office to talk about the paper. Very helpful

I had her 4 2 classes and I highly recommend her. She will take her time to find out what works best with you and try to enforce that upon you to empower you. She is not easy but is extremely fair. Do not take her lighlty b/c you will get burn. Overall, she is one of the best and she loves what she does. Good luck. I had her 4 PSYCH in stats. & RSC

She's really nice and helpful. The first half of the semester she took her time and made sure everyone grasped the concepts well, but then at the end she tried to cram in too much material and the class quickly got lost and confused, but even so, I would still take her again.

She is good at explaining in class, just dont go to her out of class if you already have a good grade, she will just blow you off. Good at teaching a difficult subject but could have spent more time on the difficult items than spending most of the class on the easy stuff. Otherwise, She's a good teacher.

What a great professor! She really cares about her students and goes out of her way to help them to understand. If you don't like stats...definitly take this class. She makes it easy to understand. HIHGLY RECOMMENDED
