I enjoyed Professor Whitlock's class. My only gripe is that she would take a pretty substantial amount of points off for having an opinion. I am currently a coach and would submit my own practice plans and she didn't like them, so I got a D on it. Lots of discussions and assignments for a total of 5 modules. Id take her again for sure!

Mrs. Whitlock is super kind and active. She can help you with any issue in the class. She makes sure that everyone understands the work and knows what to do. She never gives up on us and makes sure that we turn in our work and even extends the deadlines if necessary and be active and participate in the class and you will pass. Complete assignments.

Shes super nice and funny. The honest truth about this class is that I just show up to class because its mandatory. If you are not bad at school all you have to do to get an A is do the online assignments which are super easy and take the tests. The tests are a little difficult but not impossible by any stretch.

Mrs. Whitlock is really great. She knows her stuff and really cares about her students. She covers the material well and is clear about her expectations. She does give pop quizzes, so keep up with the material and read the textbook. Very helpful in learning the skills for coaching.

Worst HPS teacher!! Attendance is almost equivalent to a test and what she goes over in class has nothing to do with what the tests are on! The only thing I learned in this class was that she has two beagles... Tests are very detailed and are only relative to what you read in the online textbook (a $60 requirement)... Not to mention she's rude.

She was a great professor, and she is very passionate about wellness. I would suggest taking online or hybrid if possible. I took her normal class and 2 classes a week just seemed unnecessary. All work is online and she made us workout sometimes, which I didn't really enjoy given I had another class right after. Do the work and you'll get an A.

TAKE ONLINE!! It's so dumb to go to class because you still have online work to do that's due every 2-3 weeks. She's really nice and is passionate about what she teaches but TAKE ONLINE! She lectures one day of the week and then the second day of class you'll exercise. The exercises aren't rigorous but it's annoying.

She is a really nice lady, but she doesn't really know what is going on half the time. The software she uses for homework is literally the most complicated thing on earth. The assignments are tedious and unclear. She isn't good at answering emails so if you want help go to class. Stupid hard for an HPS class. lots of physical activity in class.

Wellness 1000 freshman takers - this is your go to easy A class. Show up, and you'll be fine. My only complaint about this wonderful woman is the fact that she loves to go on tangents far beyond most people's patience. But that's the glory of taking her! She's very fun, nice, and grades very fairly. Oh, and no tests.

Professor Whitlock is the BOMB! She has mandatory attendance by allows 8 absences. The textbook for Coaching Principles is required and it costs $100 (get resource for coaching minors). She is knowledgeable on the subject and answers any questions you may have. Two majors projects, a few homework grades, and the final is open book (online).

Go to class every day, do online labs and assignments, and read the textbook. You will do fine. She doesn't cover the material well in class but she will have things that she rambles about on the test so listen, it isn't that bad.

She is a really nice lady but doesn't go over test material in class well at all. Read through the book, thankfully they are getting rid of Kendall Hunt online book. It was awful. If you read through the book you, turn in assignments, and show up for class you will do fine. She expects an exercise log also.

easy a if you: GO TO CLASS (absences will kill your grade), do the labs, do the projects, study as best as you can. she's great, but she's a little all over the place and the syllabus dates are often pretty useless. the study guides aren't perfect either, but hey...what can you do? take her, though. show up, do work = a.

She's a nice lady and passionate, but she not the best teacher. Doesn't stick to the syllabus and doesn't cover the test material well in class . You need to just read the material, do the labs, and attend class regularly. I'm stuck taking this class because I didn't take it seriously the first time around. The test are HARD.

She was very passionate about class. There were lots of exercise days. Make sure you go to class, I only missed a few days and lost half of the attendance points. Make sure to read the chapters and do the labs. They will be very helpful.

Mrs. Whitlock is a passionate teacher and will help you if you need it. Here test dates haven't changed, but her "free days" are at random. Her due dates on labs are a little unclear sometimes. Tests are hard if you don't read the book. Appears that 60% of material comes from the book; the rest comes from in-class powerpoints. Drops lowest test.

Very passionate about health and fitness and truly does care about her students. Attendance is mandatory, her syllabus is not very clear, and constantly changes dates. You must study for her test, and have to buy the book because online assignments are due that can only be accessed through the book. Overall not not a bad class.

Really nice teacher. I enjoyed the class alot. You can tell it's her favorite class. The class itself is alot of fun. The book is useful but not mandatory if you pay attention and go to class. Class isn't mandatory but she gives pop quizzes and students should go.

Surprisingly difficult. She's sweet, but very forgetful and not very helpful when you have a question. She slips important information into the middle of long, boring lectures, causing you miss the few important tidbits. It's possible to get an A, but I can't recommend. Ridiculously difficult. Puts trick questions on tests.
