This guy is the nicest professor. He is very helpful and knows that people struggle with public speaking but guides you. He's not a harsh grader, just follow the rubric and you'll be fine. SOOO Funny when he starts talking about politics. But he really is great. TAKE HIM FOR SPEECH

so good. but he is like 85% deaf in both ears. A fire alarm could go out and he would probably think it's a car alarm. class is so simple. He's very funny, judgmental but you can mess with him. Just take it.

Professor Bertone is the sweetest, easygoing man EVER. Was always lenient with due dates and would even push a test or quiz back if you asked. Three 2 page papers and a 6 page research paper (you can pick your topics if you don't like his) A lot of reading to do outside of class but its a literature class so what else would you expect

Professor Bertone is a MUST. His class is beyond easy and a joke at times. He has trouble hearing, but he is a very sweet guy. He is also very opinionated and hates Trump, Republicans, Guns, and anything he disagrees with. Speeches are easy, just have good eye contact. Quizzes are rare, but taken straight out of textbook definitions. Take his class

Truly a delight to be in this class. Class is 5 speeches and a few quizzes here and there. They're all pretty easy. Just do your speeches on topics that he likes and make sure you hit the time limit and you'll be fine. It's impossible to get lower than an A- in this class. Not much is done in class besides speeches so bring work to do.

Just keep good eye contact and gestures, and he'll love any speech you give. Very easy, just wants the class to do the work so don't delay on writing your speech too long, even if you don't think you have to go that day, he just wants to stay on schedule. Super understanding, tests are super easy, textbook just needed for vocab words.

Professor Bertone is VERY VERY considerate, study for his tests and you'll do great, he is very nice and lenient in his grades, its a stress relief class for me and i am a chemistry and physics major. He is such a nice guy! It is an easy A as long as you type your paper which the topics are not hard at all. I would definitely take him again! He's an old cute man who has hearing problems so make sure you talk loud. Other than that, take him and you will not be sorry

Great Professor. Speeches really do get easier for you as time goes on. Not much is done in class besides speeches; however, he does give written tests based on the book. They are not hard, but kind of annoying. Would recommend taking him.

He's is so adorable and very sweet! He is very relaxed and understandable and sometimes goes off on tangents after speeches are given but its okay. He gives quizzes and tests but they are not hard at all and are mostly vocab. I would def take again because he is so understanding about everything.

Hes kinda prejudice and obliviously racist, but other than that hes okay. He cant hear very well, so you can literally leave the classroom and he wouldnt hear you. He is over all a pretty decent grader, sometimes he can be a little stingy with his As.

Instant A, I barely used the textbook (which could be found online for free and he says you can use it) His quizzes are simple I got high 90's on every single one, he is very lenient with his grading for your speeches, even if you stop your speech and freak out, he will still give you a A-, just write nice speeches and your guaranteed and A

Great class! Super easy public speaking class, there are only 5 speeches & 3 tests and a final I believe. He's old and for some of the speeches he actually fell asleep and he can barely hear. Just bring your laptop bc it's boring but have a long enough and interesting speech and you'll easily get an A.

Amazing professor! He's the sweetest guy ever and makes class interesting. Class often turns into an enjoyable debate/discussion. He uses a hear aid so speak loudly. And do not take advantage of him, he doesn't deserve it. I highly recommend him.

Sweetest man alive! He does go off topic a lot and talks about his personal opinion but that just makes class so much fun! He often lets kids slide for not being ready but don't take advantage of him! He doesn't deserve that! The textbook is a must but its an easy read. And he makes speaking in public less intimidating ! Love him!

Easy A! Just show up for speeches and be prepared. Quizzes are extremely easy if you just read exactly what he tells you to from the book. Be sure to talk loud because he uses hearing aids. Love this class after him.
