Dermody is a cool guy. He just says what comes to mind. He knows so much about what he teaches, and he's not making up bs just to get through the class. Assigns pretty awesome projects, with reasonable deadlines. Not to strict about attendance as long as you make an effort and meet criteria.Great class!

Love him, hate drawing. Hes hilarious! I cant draw at all but he walked me through it. He will find something to make fun of you about. For me it was the click of my heels when I walked. You can make an A or B just do the homework and try. He's great! You will learn a lot too.

this is a fun class! bill is great and he doesn't grade too tough and he is very very helpful! easy A. class is fun to attend, also. you can listen to your ipod or whatever and do your work, or talk to people as you do your work. its very laid back. only negative is there are a lot of supplies to buy and it can get expensive.

bill is an awesome teacher! he's always giving constructive criticism. don't take anything he says to heart, just put the advice he gives you into your drawings. go to class prepared, with supplies and homework. he doesn't give too much work. he takes into consideration each student's level of talent, and grades based on that. he makes class fun.

Holy Crap I love this man. Bill is an Amazing guy, so fun, so energetic, the only teacher in fine arts that doesnt make me want to die. He really believes in his students, and will tell you exactly whats wrong with your work. You must take this class.

He's my favorite professor!! He makes it alot of fun while learning a lot at the same time. He is always willing to help you if you don't understand (that's what I really like!).
