Bob is a great professor and person. He is so kind and cares deeply about the course material. His classes are pretty easy and very interesting if you are interested in LGBTQ+ studies. I highly recommend taking any course offered by Bob!

Prof. Connelly is an amazing professor. He is organized, articulate, and engaging. His lectures are on point, and they always result in meaningful and thoughtful dialogue between students. He is an amiable person and regularly available to meet or talk with outside class. I highly recommend him. I wish I could take another course with him myself!

The absolute best. Makes class welcoming and enjoyable. Really cares what students have to say and is open to feedback. Gives back assignments within a week. I can't wait to take another class with him next semester

Such a wonderful person and professor. Really shows interests in his students during class discussion. Genuinely friendly with a vast knowledge of LGBT history. His ties to the LGBT community in DC is apparent from his stories.

Everyone has to love Bob! He cares deeply about his students, and tries to know everyone on a personal basis. All assignments were too the point and never any busy work. His lectures could be boring at times, but for a new class, he did a fair job. Bob normally teaches communication classes, and handled a gender studies class very well.

AU needs more people like Bob. He doesn't torture students with pointless busy work unlike FAR too many other AU people. Bob knows his stuff and the scope and number of clips he screens always impressed me. Clips are always relevant and fit into his lectures nicely. Even though I had seen all of the films previously, Bob was engaging when teaching.
