I'm so luck to have had her for CP1. Cathy truly cares about you and is extremely fair when it comes to projects. She will always have a nice thing to say about your film which is helpful for a person who has never filmed. Her energy was the only reason I woke up on those days. Take risks in this class, if you don't you are bound to fail

Cathy is fantastic! I was super lucky to have her for CP1. She gives helpful feedback and provides multiple opportunities to get feedback for each project. Reading is assigned, but not completely necessary. She's very willing to help you reach your vision for your films.

I've never had a more worldly, funny, and caring professor than Cathy. She'll make you think about cinema, filmmaking, and life in entirely new ways. Critical thinking and collective improvement takes precedence over grades in her classes, so give it your all and take risks. Trust me, it'll be incredibly rewarding if you do.

I've taken Cine 1 and Fiction with Cathy, she's absolutely one of my favorite professors. She has an affinity for directing, so if that your interest, learn it from her! She gives constructive feedback and expects you to put in what you want back.

Cathy may be one of the most understanding and supportive people living. Honestly. She's easy to talk to, which lends to how helpful she is. And she just makes class so damn fun you wouldn't even think of missing one. I've learned a lot in cinema production because of her knowledge & encouragement.
