Comment:

Begins class before time which can be very annoying, then when u show up at the exact time you are supposed to show up, she makes it look like you walked in late yet she is the one in a hurry to begin her class. No room for make-up quizzes means that her life HAS NEVER BEEN SURROUNDED BY EMERGENCIES-the world will never revolve around your class.

Comment:

Look, she is a very nice person generally, and I feel like she does try to have the students' best interests at heart, but I found the guest speaker, and also the author of our textbook, very sleazy and she really idolized him. That along with the refusal to make up quizzes if there's an emergency, make me hesitant to give her too high of a rating.

She is fabulous. If you're looking for something interesting to learn about, this is the class to take. She takes time looking over all of your work and she really wants to get to know the person beyond the assignments.

From my experience um she told me I couldn't read or write. And I shouldn't apply for graduate school. I did apply for graduate school and she was right. I got rejected. So many years later and owing thousand in debt. I found I had mild dyslexia. To tell you the truth I'm not good at nothing. And life has been very hard.

Great teacher, honestly! Took us to the Maltz Museum, very inlightening. hard grader on papers but she is worth it. awesome end of the semester project

Wiggins really helped me to figure out what i wanted to do and gave me confidence in my writing. although she may seems scattered at times, she is an extremely caring person and wants everyone to reach their potential.

Best instructor ever! Changed my life. I cannot recommend her enough or more highly. You will not be sorry. Very knowledgable regarding subject matter, is more than willing to help you,theater clases are a lot of fun and discussion in lit. classes are very interesting and informative. Be prepared to work hard.

Wiggins is great. Grades fairly & is very caring. She did tend to treat the class like a bunch of junior high kids but that is a very minor complaint. WARNING: follows attendance policy, which sucks. I think if a student can earn an A without showing up, more power to them.

I had Dr. Wiggins in my freshman year- She was one of the reasons I stayed. Tough teacher but talented and loves what she does. She encouraged me and helped me gain confidence in my writing. She's one of the teachers I will always remember.

Dr. Wiggins is fabulous! She has great class discussions, and if you're an Ed major, she is a great hands-on role model for your own classroom. Highly recommended... and if you have questions for her- ASK!! :)

Dr. Wiggins was excellent. She's extremely tough but very fair. Her tests and assignments are only difficult if you don't bother to study. Her class discussions are always great, and she's infinately patient. And she'll only "hurt your feelings" if you don't do good work for her.
