Professor Kim wants to help his students but he does very poorly at this. He is always saying students should ask questions, but when they he makes it seem like you should already know it. Quizzes/ Homework was on the basis that if you do it you get 100, but this is only 10% total. You will need to work on problems outside of class to understand.

Lets just say if you're taking Bus Finance as a requirement then you should choose another teacher. I don't like his teaching style. Tests are pretty hard, no homework. I suggest you choose another professor

Class is hard but he is one of the Best Professors I've had. Exams are hard and little homework is given. Still he is one of the best I've had and enjoyed the class.Corporate Finance is a hard class no matter who you take it wit.

My favorite prof. so far at Winona State. He's definitely not the easiest prof. here, far from it, but he is probably the most willing to help you. He makes things VERY clear in class what is exactly on each test and actually teaches what is on the test, unlike some other finance teachers here......highly recommend

He is selective and if you didn't do well on exam, you must fail. It maybe easy for many people, but there are few students are confused. He will not care where are your questions, he only care your performance on exam. Be careful !

This teacher is AWESOME! Nice guy with a good sense of humor. Corporate Finance is difficult, but Mr. Kim's explanations and good demeanor help make easier. Though attendance is not mandatory, I highly recommend that you attend class - without his instruction, you will probably do badly.

If you take his advice and study, you'll will gain a great understanding of the world of finance. He shows you how to work problems his way which is usually easier than the way the book teaches. You must attend class or you will be lost. Plus he offers random homework assignments in class. He's very helpful if you're not understanding.

Extremely hard. I dont know why this guy gets rated so highly to be honest. He isnt a very good teacher. If you ask a question he wont really answer it in a way thats helpful and will generally make you feel dumb for asking. 90% of the your points are from the exams. each exam is 20 questions. So if you dont know the material well you will be sorry

Great professor! Very hard class but he really wants you to understand the material. Ask him how to do the Excel assignments and he does them in class and gives you points for it! I took it over the summer (June-term) so we did 1 chapter per day and had exams on Fridays. Very nice man, approachable, and FUNNY! Would definitely take him again.

Definitely an intelligent professor. Nice, a good sense of humour, grades fairly, approachable. Whats not to like. Does the excel assignments for us in class so we pretty much get all the points. He is by far the best prof. at Winona. It isn't always easy, but he will explain it until you understand it. It is the only class I have ever really learned anything. He doesn't want to give bad grades either cuz he actually wants you to learn the material. If you can take him I would recommend it. Just go to the classes and you will do fine

Subject is hard but he explains it well. Encourages participation with a calculator and to read chapters before class. Does homework on Excel for you if you ask, then says to print it and turn it in for points. Wants his students to do well. I recommend him - I learned a lot!

Take him! Especially if you're a finance major. His classes are hard but he teaches very well and you'll come out knowing alot more after having him then any other professor. He is, by far, the best finance professor at winona state.

Kim makes class pretty fun. He is a very funny guy. It is obvious he has fun teaching class. Quizzes every week are EASY if you look over notes. Tests are not difficult if you do examples he posts on blackboard. Overall, probably the best FIN360 professor at WSU!!!
