Comment:

Dr. Putcha is an excellent teacher. He explains the subject matter so clearly that I don't need to read anything after attending his class. I hope other teachers in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at California State University, Fullerton are like him.

Very nice professor but his writing is very hard to read, didn't really teach, and his examples weren't very helpful. He FELL asleep during an exam! You will not learn anything!

Comment:

His first exam was very easy because it had basic problems similar to examples done in class. His second exam and final were tough because of the difficult material. Exams and final are worth 80% of your grade so study hard. Has a heavy accent and his handwriting can be hard to understand at times so sit close to the board. Homework is very easy.

Comment:

I have taken this class in Fall 2016. Dr. Putcha explains the concepts of Statics so clearly and so nicely. Great teacher. I wish other instructors in the Civil Engineering Department and in the college of Engineering and Computer Science at California State University, Fullerton are like him.

Comment:

The lectures were very clear. The board work was very nice. Dr. Putcha explains the concepts very clearly and patiently. Once I attend Dr. Putcha's class the subject matter is so clear as the way he explains is so amazing. After hat, I don't have to read much.

Worst professor I've ever had. Now don't get me wrong, personally he is a great guy, but unfortunately nice isn't going to help me understand. He is very disorganized, he is extremely hard to understand( heavy accent + low voice). His text don't really reflect hw so make sure you go to lecture, but you won't be able to read anything he writes !!

Dr Putcha is one of the nicest professors I've ever had. I really enjoyed his class. It wasn't that bad, it involves a lot of teaching yourself though. He really makes an effort to learn everyone's name. The tests are based off of the class notes, so make sure you pay attention.

Dr. Putcha is like a book himself. His lectures are all extempore. He answers patiently questions from all the students. His board writing is clear. He repeats the concepts of the course material so that any student who missed it first time will get it next time. I wish all the faculty in the college are like him. I am going to miss him.

Dr. Putcha is an excellent teacher. He covered all the topics of the subject so clearly. I have not seen a better teacher than him in all the classes that I have taken at CSUF till now.

Putcha is a cool guy, but the buck stops there. His lectures are disorganized and as such they are extremely hard to follow. He will -literally- spend half of the class asking every person if they're ready to move on. Not a very constructive use of class time IMO. The only thing he taught well was the section on Laplace Transform.

This professor is very hard to understand verbally and also his notes. His notes are what are going to help you with the exams and his review the book helps with the concepts but his hw is irrelevant from the exam. So make sure to ask a lot of questions on his writing to get get your notes on point.

Mr.putcha sir teached us well , he teaches the topic in an interesting way that is in a crystal clear way it is good to have u sir in our university sir. He is just exemplary, quintessential after all out of his stuff. He teaches something within a snap of fingers & with a great efficiency quotient.
