A really nice guy, means well but I don't think he handled the class well online. The only grades he gave us were 4 tests and they were so confusing/hard. You have to have the textbook or most things won't make sense.

Never have had a worse professor. All he had was 4 tests the entire semester; there was no other way to receive credit. He did not take attendance during the semester and rushed through all of the material. He basically just always made us read the textbook. DO NOT TAKE! Terrible professor.

He is the best professor I have had! He goes above and beyond to reach students. He gives lots of clever ways to remember topics. His grading is fair. The course is well organized and easy to follow along. He makes it easy to pass but tough to get an A. Definitely take his class if you have the chance!!!!!!!!!

Good professor, but lectures are long and boring. Wish he would come up with another way to make his material interesting. Only graded on tests and one can be replaced with a seven page paper.

I thought Kilpatrick was a great professor. He tries to make his lectures as interesting as possible. He puts all his presentations online so if you miss something you can go back or take notes ahead of time. His tests aren't too bad and he usually ends up throwing some questions away, and even gives extra credit for missing no classes!

Love this professor! Very funny and caring. He wants his students to do well. His final is pretty easy, his exams aren't too bad but you have to study and read the textbook. Don't miss class because you get 3 points added to your final grade if you attend all classes, which can really make a difference. Best Psych professor in the school.

PSY101 is a hard class but Dave makes the lectures not so bad. He loves cracking jokes and sometimes showing his magician side. He makes the tests fair and always listens to students feedback. He is also good at sending emails for clarification if anyone has any questions. He is so adorable and sweet.

Extremely interesting lectures - knows how to keep 200+ people interested. Tells a lot of personal stories that relate to class material so it's easy to relate to. He's also a magician and sometimes does magic tricks in class. Make sure you get the textbook - all of the quizzes/tests require reading the textbook.

Very fast paced professor. Likes to crack jokes here and there. All around good guy though. All the quizzes are on your own time and you can take them as many times as you want to achieve the best grade possible.

Dave is an awesome professor - his lectures are a string of tangents, but you'll be glad you went because his stories will help make sense of the textbook material. He genuinely cares about us learning the material and has no problem going over concepts until everyone understands! I can't wait to take more classes with him. :)

Amazing professor! He really knows what he's talking about. Has a ton of experience. I think the class was easy if you have at least a little knowledge in psychology. He gives the choice of doing an optional paper in order to drop the lowest test grade and attendance extra credit. Recommend him for any class!

Awesome guy! Class is based off of 4 tests and if you do badly on one, you can do an extra credit paper and drop the lowest test grade. I came in knowing very little about psych and had no problems understanding what was discussed. Lectures are clear and he uses plenty of examples to ensure comprehension. Has some great stories as well.

Dave is a great professor. His tests are all multiple choice and are very reliable and valid. He reviews questions many got wrong and will give you points if he feels he failed to teach properly. He class can get boring at times but overall he had been one of my favorite psy professors.

nice guy, but goes off on a tangent all the time about his life and family, so class is somewhat boring. Tests are all multiple choice, pretty straightforward. review notes and textbook and you'll be good to go. if you have perfect attendance he raises your grade! he's a magician too so ask him to a trick or 2 at the end of the semester!

Nice guy. Willing to help. Tests are ok if you study,. He makes them seem harder than they are. Used to work in the school district I attended. So hard to listen to him babble at 8am. Most people perk up when he has personal stories.
