Comment:

Assigns papers at random with varying allotted time to complete them; including one during holiday break. Will not tell you what he's looking for in a paper until after he grades it. Never gives 100%. No regard for the effort students put into their work. Horrible experience. Find another class to take!

Provides excellent feedback; more than willing to work with you on assignments if you put in the effort; he gave me extra time to work on the final paper with no penalty because I had put forth the effort on all previous assignments.

I'm going to be honest, when I saw all these negative comments I was apprehensive about taking the class. It ended up being very simple. He'll assign you 6 3-page papers, 1 term paper around 15 pages, and some short tasks. That's it! It's true that he never gives a 100% on anything but he offers easy bonus points. Take this class.I got an A+ easy.

His assignment explanations were completely vague and unclear. When I asked him questions he only answered parts of the questions. He conveniently forgets to mention that his "term paper" is 15-20 pages long. He will not give you full credit for any assignment no matter what you do.

I don't know what the people below me are talking about. Its true that the assignments come out randomly but just check blackboard every day like you should and its all good. There is a syllabus. You don't have to do the little lecture-like things he has or even read. Just research for your papers, which are 2 pages tops usually.

Comment:

By far the hardest non-major class I have taken. There is no syllabus for the year so assignments are posted at random. There are no tests but about every week and a half a 2 page paper is due. Not to mention the final is a 15-20 page term paper. Do not take this class if you need guidence. I do not recommend this teacher.
