This guy is an amazing teacher and uses his own notes to help you understand the material and gives silly names for things to help you remember the hard stuff! He also grades on a curve so if your like me and chem is not your best subject take him because he will help you pass! If you want an easy A take him!

I loved this professor. Had him for Chemistry Lab. He has an accent but it isn't hard to understand him at all. He also likes to make sure everyone os clear with his directions. He makes me laugh!

i'm honestly surprised at everything i'm reading. Dr. Ishak is an incredible, gifted man and an amazing teacher. He was always willing to help. He does have an accent, but I don't think that it hinders your ability to learn. chemistry is a subject that requires practice, and if you practice, you'll do well. He is a teacher I highly recommend.

Dr. Ishak is a real butthole of a prof. Subbed for our lab one day and made one chick cry when he said she was late, but she really wasn't late and he didn't listen to the rest of us who said so. Anyway, the accent is SO hard to understand and he doesn't let you work in pairs. Can't stand him but he's better than Breland I guess.

I don't care what anyone says about his accent or humor, he is an awesome teacher! I've had others and he taught me so much. He's willing to help 247! he is always always always curving grades and giving A's for no reason. but he's not just easy and stupid, he actuallly teaches amazingly!

Dr. Ishak is a nice person but, a very poor teacher. I did not learn very much in his class. He refuses to answer any questions and does not provide you a grade until the end of the semester. This makes it difficult to know where you stand. He is not available out side of the classroom (never there during office hours) and he is inconsistant!

Dr. Ishak is competent to teach Intro and Chem 1&2 Labs ONLY. Chem 1&2 lectures are the toughest subjects for pre-med & pre-pharm students & if you trust this guy to teach it to you, you're insane. Wastes time arguing in class, has no office hours, drives all over the Bay area daily to scratch out his 40K/year. Unethical, plays favorites, sucks.

Dr. Ishak gives you many chances to get a better grade with extra credit assignments. He is extremely helpful, wants students to learn and get good grades. Famous phrase "hurry up, hurry up! Take your time." Sometimes hard to understand. Makes it seem easy but it is not. Failed 2 tests. Lots of extra credit. Would take him again. Enjoyable to an extent. Lab was cake.

I NEWER KNEW HOW I WAS DOING IN LAB. HE NEVER GAVE US OUR PRE+POST LAB PAPER BACK. IN LECTURE WE COULD NOT RETAKE TESTS ANYMORE. EVAN THOUGH I TRIED SO HARD TO HAVE GOOD GRADE, I HAD TO DROP HIS CLASS.DO NOT TAKE THIS TEACHER!!!!
