Dr. Seier is from Peru, and her accent is thick. She is incredibly nice, but I wouldn't take her class again purely because I had to work so hard to understand what she was saying. She posts the powerpoints online, but the material is confusing. If you have to take her class, sit toward the front, pay close attention, and go to her office hours.

Seier is very hard to understand at first, but it gets easier. There is a quiz each week in class along with an online quiz. Labs are consisted of numerous problems that must be completed with statistical software, which is the hardest part of this course. Overall, she is funny and willing to help. PS you get extra credit for going to every lecture

Very sweet professor, works great one on one. I got a somewhat easy A cause I took AP Stats in HS. Unlimited online quizzes which relates to in class quizzes. Tests come mostly from quizzes w/ some extra content. Ask questions even tho she has an accent! Gives XC for correcting her! Haha, be willing to work and dont expect easy A. Knows her stuff!!

Very nice teacher. Honestly I was scared at first because of her accent but as the semester goes along she becomes easier to understand. If you have any questions all you have to do is ask and she will tell you how to do it. She really wants her students to succeed because everytime I emailed her she got back to me quickly and was very helpful.

Very very VERY hard to understand in class. Homework questions come from the book she wrote but other than that it is pretty useless. This class should not count as an INTRODUCTION to statistics because she assumes you already know all the basics. You basically have to teach yourself.

She was pretty hard to understand but if you pay attention and listen closely you can catch what she says. It is hard to catch her concepts, she offers a lot of assistance out of class, and can sometimes be helpful in class, often rambles on and on about her statistics, she is very hard to pay attention to.

Hard to understand in class. She is very helpful outside of class though. She tends to rant, but if you are persistent, she will clarify things for you. Very, very helpful if you just ask questions.

Dr. Seier is difficult to understand in class. She will occassionally turn on "spanish mode" mid-lecture and confuse the students. However, she more than makes up for the confusing lectures by being EXTREMELY helpful outside of class. She will literally sit with you for hours in her office to help you, especially if she sees youre a dedicated stdnt

Dr. Seier is such a sweetheart. She has a good sense of humor too. It was a little hard to understand what she was saying, she has a somewhat thick accent, but she's a good teacher. This class has a 75% fail rate and I pulled a C- (I'm really bad at math). I would recommend.

For having to teach a course like prob.and stats., Dr. Seier was amazingly patient and very helpful. I would highly suggest anyone dreading to take this course to take it with Dr. Seier.
