I completely agree with the rating saying she is the most average professor. Honestly, I think that if you are in her class stay in it because she has the most experience out of all the other computer science teachers. I highly recommend her.

Branca is the most average professor you will ever have. There are things she can improve on but there are also things she does better than other professors. If you give an effort she will see that and help you the rest of the way. It was an easy A for me because I understood it and gave an effort but programming is not for everyone.

Branca is the best COMSC prof I've ever had. There's a lot of work but its necessary in order to learn the material. If you can't handle the amount of work given then Computer Science maybe just isn't for you. Branca's a lovely & intelligent woman and if you do the work you'll not only ace the class but it'll transfer to all of your COMSC courses.

yeah. bad teacher. never teaches you anything and rambles on in class too much. I could never do the HW and the only way to get it done was by having the tutors do it. she's a great coder but horrible at teaching. Take someone else if you are trying to actually LEARN how to code!

Horrible prof. You don't get your money's worth. Class is easy but she gives a ton of work. She hardly went over lines of code in class, she has a tendency to ramble about nothing. Most kids in the class never know WHAT she's on about. Class has been an absurd amount of assignments and learning C++ on my own time. Should not have to pay for that.

You seriously have to be the laziest or most unmotivated person to get below a B in this class. Most tests are open book and she gives you more than enough material to help with tests. Great teacher. However, I feel as if she didn't prepare me for when I transferred to a 4 year college. If you think this class is hard in WCC, this is not your major

She is very hard in that she expects you to read the material, be at every class and put effort into your work. If you follow these tenets, you will do extremely well in her class and learn a lot. She instills a love of programming in her students. A student would be lucky indeed if they manage to get to take a class with her. I have taken two.

Great Professor! If you're not interested in Computer Science and you just want an easy grade, get another professor. She's the most indepth with her lessons, and because of that, also the hardest. Make sure you get your work done, take notes, study & you can get an easy A. Be warned: If you aren't interested and willing to learn, look elsewhere!

All over the place. Told tutor she could cut office hours because they should go to the tutor. Told tutor not to help someone who missed a ;ot of class. Gave a 5 minute break for a 3 hour and 45 minute class. Showed up an hour late no break because there was not enough time, same when she was half an hour late
