Nice person, as a professor she fails. You won't know what your grade is. She doesn't deduct points for latework so don't rush in doing your assignments, people who tured stuff in late got better grades then the ones on who did on time. The testbooks a joke she wrote it has youtube and blogs are sources very unprofessional. Spend most day on google

Gail Hughes can't keep her politics out of ANY classroom. Unfortunately, she was on my Ph.D. committee and was the weakest link by far. She is unorganized, can't keep up with materials you send her, interrupts appointments you make with, etc. She has no right call herself an educator. She also "ambushes" her students, too. My committee noted this.

TERRIBLE PROF! she seriously taught the class nothing, no one ever wanted to go but she took attendance, i have no idea what we were acutally graded on our papers had a + -, or a check, what is that? she talks about how bad the US is and all of her political views dont bother standing up to her cuz you will be the one is wrong every time!

The worst Professor I have had at St. Cloud State. I am a 'A' Student and I got a bad grade in this class, due to her poor teaching skills. She does not answer your questions, Nor does she tell you your grade. She does not give input, so you sould be failing and she would not care to tell you! Im taking her to the Dean! Do not take her!!!!!!!!!

Terrible teacher I thought....She didn't explain anything clearly and never got back to you if you had a question about something. She also never told you your grade of how well you were doing through out the class so you had no idea how you were doing because shen never corrected anything!!

Very unorganized, believes that her opinions are the only way to think. Deadlines were not important, making the course difficult for procrastinators (but she gave me an incomplete.) Case study was pointless, lots of busy work, and going to class was mandatory yet a waste of time. Speak up often, take notes of what she assigns with due dates.

What a joke! She's teaching the wrong classes, because as an ED class, the material covered should be related to EDUCATION and how to teach, but we spent the whole time looking at political inequalities, looking up info on a case study of a country that she hand picks, and she assigns pointless journals! Bring a book or a pillow, cause class drags!

Funny story. I was one of the few people who talked in her class, she called on me a lot. She gave me an A+ on my final and announced it to the class. When I went to her office to pick up the final, she didn't remember who I was! She's got issues!

Her class was a horrible waste of time. She just pushes her opinions and makes big useless busy work assignments. My night class had to come early or stay late almost every week, plus we were supposed to go to conferences in the cities.
