Pretty biased views in his teachings, assigns a textbook that he wrote, and subjective grader on essay tests (only feedback is see sample answer: B-) Nice though and funny, tried to make material as enjoyable as possible.

Very practical course. Even though lectures are almost 3 hours, they go buy quick and he makes them very interesting. The topics covered in this course are very practical, and he makes the course as practical as possible. Lectures are not mandatory for the class however. If you read the book (which he wrote), you will be do well on his essay exams.

Jones class is really interesting. He let us out like an hour early every week. Grade is based only on 3 exams which you need to fill the entire blue book to do well. He doesnt give you feedback though. Tests are based off textbook readings and not so much lecture so if you read the book youll be fine.

Dr. Jones' class is really informative. Attendance is not mandatory to do well-- if you don't go, just read the chapters before the exam and take notes on them and you'll do well. The more you write on the exams, the better off you'll be. If you need accommodations for a trip or a day where you have 2 exams, just talk to him and he'll help you out.

Dr. Jones is a funny man. Had a 3 hour lecture class, but he often let us out early. I learned more from reading the book than his lectures, but his exams are legal based. He gives a scenario and you discuss the ethical and legal aspects of it using the book info (that he wrote). Grade was based off of the 3 exams. Half of the class shows up.

Dr. Jones was amazing. Really wants you to succeed; answers any and all questions well and is more than clear what he expects you to know for tests. Major major extra credit opportunities, for participation around finals. Show up at class even though you don't have to at all-- he explains well and uses examples from class on tests.

If you need to take logic, take it with Professor Jones. He makes the material so easy to understand, and although I heard a lot of people complain about taking logic, I actually enjoyed it. Your grade is determined by 3 tests (which are all pretty easy), and there's extra credit, too (it brings you up half a grade).

He makes a boring topic fun! Seriously, best logic professor. He always lets you out early and his tests are basically straight from the homework. He's very straight-forward and gives interesting examples.

This guy is absolutely fantastic. He made a boring class interesting, while making it easy. I had him for a three week summer school class and he always let us out way early. He is so intelligent and interesting. Take him if you can!

Don't take anyone else besides Jones for Logic! He makes the class super manageable and his lectures are super clear. There's only 2 tests and a final, which you can use a cheat sheet on and is weighted the same as the other tests. Extra credit is offered and attendance isn't required. He's the best!

Logic is a dull class and Professor Jones does a great job at making a dull subject interesting. Your grade is contingent on your performance on 3 tests, plus an extra credit opportunity that will raise your average 1/3 of a letter grade. There is no homework, but if you study from the book, your scores will improve! Easy Class!

This is definitely the best option to go for logic. Jones is very clear in his explanations, gives a lot of extra credit and wants you to get an A. Going to class makes everything way more understandable. If you're on the waiting list, he'll add you in on the first day. Make sure to practice your proofs long before the final if you want to get an A

Jones is a funny guy and is very political. He teaches the material well and never keeps you for the full 3 hours. Three tests, first one is hard, second is easy, and the last/final is pretty easy as well. Overall, a pretty easy class if you keep up with the homework.

Took this class in 3 weeks over the summer. I loved it so much I wished I would have taken it during a normal semester to get more out of it. Love the professor. Always there to help and loves talking about and getting the class involved in political discussions which I found interesting. Never keeps you the whole time. Take him for logic!

Pretty easy teacher. Curves tests sometimes, attendance completely optional (you can learn in class or from book), no hw, 2/3 tests you can have cheat sheet, also easy extra credit offered for 5 minutes of in-class time doing problems. Nice guy but lectures can be kind of boring especially if you find politics boring. You can leave any time though.

First class is literally 5 minutes, he never keeps you the whole time. Offers huge extra credit and curves the first test a lot. Talks about politics in a very humorous manner and makes an otherwise boring class at least a little entertaining. TAKE HIM

Attendance optional. Homework optional. Tests pretty easy and curved. Never keeps you the entire class meeting. Goes on rants about politics and law, but overall a really easy logic class.

Teacher is smart but he rants about healthcare half the time. The tests suck, they're extremely trivial and subjective; first one is ONE HUNDRED questions, second two are around 50 questions and even harder. Your whole grade depends on test scores, no hw or attendance taken. The median on our first test was a 78 AFTER the curve. HAVE FUN!
