Professor Shean is a really nice guy and an easy grader. Not the most technologically savvy, but really knows his material and, on occasion, will give you an interesting anecdote. Don't take if you're not already interested in psychology. Lots of dense reading.

This is one of the better professors whom I've had while at W&M. His style is laid back, full of stories, enjoyable class, encourages questions & discussion. Smart. If you ask, he'll make time to explain. Grading is good.

Easy grader, if you ask for help he will gladly give it. Tells a lot of personal stories which makes the class incredibly interesting. He actually has a sense of humor as well. Sometimes he forgets things and will repeat stuff, and is sometimes unclear, but he is more than happy to explain. He is one of my favorite teachers at William and Mary.

i hate this man with an all-consuming, burning passion. he is a mean old man, and even if you get an A on everything you ever turn in, you still may not end up with an A in the class. some of the movies are pretty good, but there are a lot of papers to write. very unhelpful, bad professor.

Boring lectures, fortunately only met about 8 times this semester. Field placement is nice, but didn't get much out of it. Overall, disappointed with class. Felt like he just didn't care much about us, seemed like he didn't even read our papers. Agree that you just won't care.

Only 3 papers and an exam on a short. The class is 3 hours long and usually boring. Grading is easy, but weighting is, as he admits "based on his judgement," enabling you to get As on all 3 papers, kill the exam, participate in class, but still get an A-. He kinows his stuff-- you just won't care.

After a week, dropped class. Took an hour to answer a students question. Learned absolutely nothing...could not take it anymore...dropped. makes you have debates against other students.
