Grant is an awesome teacher. If his class is full, don't worry, just send him an e-mail because there is a high possibility of of him "granting" you an add code (this is what happened to me). Throughout the class you get to watch super intriguing movies and write an entry on them while also responding to your classmates's entries. 15/10 recommend.

Grant Richards is an AMAZING professor. I took his accelerated Humanities 4 Online Class during the Winter Break. We watched super awesome movies, wrote a submission on each of them, and responded to two to three peers' submissions. Overall great and easy class. You will learn a lot and truly enjoy this class. Grant if see this, you're the man.

He really knows a lot about film/movies and gives great talks about camera angles and technical words to use in the industry. Wish he spent more time making films in class rather than outside of class times. He does not focus on making sure everyone gets to use the equipment/participate, it's up to the student to ask/participate/being involved.

This is honestly one of the best teachers at Gav for any major that has to do with art or humanities. He usually let us out early and I loved all the hands on work we got to do. Hes very understanding and if you need help with homework or assignments, hell do it no question. Just dont miss more than 4 classes, show up, and youll do great. :)

Grant is such a wonderful guy. He has a passion for cinema and respects the art for what it is. Amateur filmmaking is something he truly appreciates. He's the kind of professor you would invite to your own party.

Great teacher for Hum 25! He's very hands on and let's you learn all about high tech film technology. Very fun class when you show up. Easy class. Grant's so nice and he'll help you with whatever you need, but you just have to ask. Learned so much.

Easiest class I've ever taken. There are 3 major projects 2 minor ones and a final. He does movie/TV stuff outside of class, if you offer to help him with that stuff (film the sports games, be an extra, etc.) he will give you an A on any assignment. You can just do that 6 times and don't miss more than 4 classes and it's an easy A.

Grant Richards gives that good extra credit. The assignments were easy enough. The tests are definitely hard and you'd have to study the book to pass those - however it doesn't matter because of that dank extra credit.

Honestly, this was the best class I have ever taken. Grant is such an easy teacher (apparently only in the section I took-in morgan hill on wednesdays). The Wednesday class is mixed with a senior citizen class offered by the city of morgan hill, so we do LITERALLY NOTHING but watch movies and write reviews about them. The old people are cute too.

It was a really interesting class and he taught it very well! I basically just watched a bunch of classic movies and he tested us on them (or we wrote a little essay). You definitely need to do the work to get a good grade, but he made the work fun!

Teacher is not present throughout course. Assignments get graded a few weeks after they are due so if you are needing immediate feedback this class is not for you. Sent one email to the teacher, they didn't respond but the issue was resolved a few weeks later with no response. Also you start with a 0 and work your way up with points so don't freak

I took 2 of his classes and seriously he is the best teacher i have had yet. hes super laid back and it would like watching movies then this is perfect for you! You just have to write a 1 or 2 page paper on the movie. Really not that hard people...not sure why some people complained.. hes awesome! I plan to take as many classes as I can from him!

He was an alright guy but not very helpful at all. We seriously just went to class once a week and watched a movie with some old people and left. The movies weren't even great movies like I thought they would be because it is a film class. He gave us no direction and never went over a single thing. He made us buy a book that we never used.
