He has been my favorite professor so far, no contest. Class is always extremely interesting, and he is hilarious. There's quite a lot of reading every week, but that's to be expected. Papers are graded a bit hard, but it's definitely possible to make an A.

Dr. Love is awesome and if you are engaged in class then you will learn a ridiculous amount and the class will be well worth your effort. You do a LOT of reading and he grades papers tough, but he is also very helpful and will do anything to help you out, so if you put the effort in you can easily get an A.

Fantastic, I loved ever minute of his class. You do need to read but well worth the discussion and the way he makes your mind turn. Even though his attendance is not mandatory, I never wanted to miss his class. Would love to take him again

Dr. Love was the best professor I had in college, and I've been around for a while. He is brilliant, yet approachable. You will learn more and have more fun than you thought possible. Also take one of his philosophy classes if possible. They are incredible, real hidden treasures at Clemson.

He is one of the funniest teachers i've ever had. it's a hard subject but if you study you'll do fine. i got the same grade on every single test, but i cram a lot. just read over the words every day it takes like five minutes and it will do you real good.

Awesome teacher! This guy is seriously hilarious! He will have you laughing you head off. And you learn a lot too. Homework eveyday and 6 tests over the semester, but not too hard. He makes every effort to ensure that you understand everything. Take Dr. Love's class if you can--its the class I most look forward to!

Dr. Love is a nice guy, but I don't think his grading is fair. He gave me a "B" b/c I slept through class even though I made "A's" on all assignments (I had 3 years of German in HS). I took through GER 202 and made an "A" in all of them except 101...a little strange I think!
