Comment:

He expects that everyone knew what they were doing by giving a 15 minute lecture and provided no help when working on problems. If you were wrong he would tell u it's wrong & walk away and provide no support. I was intimated to ask him for help and everyday he would remind us that "we are in this class because we failed the math acuplacer test"

Comment:

Amazing Professor would try to take him any class you can. Very homework based class but not graded. Every day you go over the homework so doesn't necessarily need to be done. EVERY QUIZ AND MID-TERM YOU ARE ALLOWED AN OPEN NOTEBOOK. Quizzes and midterm are the only types of exams you take. Easy A very easy to understand. Some complain to easy.

Comment:

Judge's classes are not difficult. He respects and cares about his students, and never makes anyone feel silly for asking a question about even the simplest things. I took him for math applications as well. He prints out a workbook for you, so you only need to buy a binder. Do the work, and write everything down. Many droppable quizzes, good guy.

Judge's class is easy. You do the hw, go over it next class by doing problems on the board, and can correct it. You can use all hw for help on quizzes and anything can be used on tests. He loves his ruler.

Mr. Judge is a tricky one. If you understand or follow things his way, then you're golden, if not You're in trouble. It took me until the middle of the semester to realize this as a sophomore and let's just say I wish I figured it out sooner. He really does hate failing people, but if you don't understand the dynamic, he'll do it. .

Was very good at teaching. Was able to break down information well for better understanding. One of the first professors who didn't look down on the students. The criteria is very clear and we work on problems until we understand the material. Very helpful. Respectful of students. Didn't spoon feed you the answers but was very helpful. Great guy

If you're good at math you'll breeze through this class. He is very proud of himself for not assigning a textbook and reminded us of this fact almost every day. Lots of group work on the boards which is kind of annoying, but at least you get confirmation on the homework problems. If you're good at math then you really only gotta show up for quizzes

Takes things step by step which makes it easy to understand. Your three ring binder will be your holy grail, as long as you have it you're all set. Open notes on tests and quizzes. Friendly guy who is there to make sure you understand what you're doing right and wrong. Lots of board work with groups (which I thought I'd hate) but it's helpful!

Professor Judge is a great guy. He's super nice and friendly. The material was difficult and he had a hard time helping everyone. He loves to have you do work on the board which just made me confused. He does give good feedback and is willing to answer any questions. The class went well expect the material went from being really easy to hard fast.

Comment:

He seems unapproachable but he is honestly a great professor! He has horrible math jokes but he is very fair. Class often ends when you are finished with the lecture and the homework is more than manageable. All of his tests and quizzes are open note. Have your materials for class and you should be all set! Overall, I really enjoyed his class!

Great teacher. There are some powerpoint presentations, but mostly board work with peers. He will explain why you got your answer (right or wrong.) Sometimes he will stop the class to explain so everyone is caught up. If you are serious about becoming a business major, I strongly recommend this class :)

He is so unbelievably easy. It was like middle school math; we learned about slope intercept and spent half of the semester on it. He doesn't really try to reach out or help you, but if you have basic math skills, you won't need it in his class. No book either. And everyone says his jokes are corny...but they're really not too bad!

Had to drop this class, he was so un responsive to students, if you're an independent learner and did good in math in high school, you'll be just fine in this class, but if you need a little help because you find math difficult, run as fast as you can from this class. The whole class is working on the board with group members and he give no help.

If you dont like math then you wont like his class. Go to class if you want to do well it in. He makes his own workbook with notes in it thats really helpful. He's wicked corny but an overall nice teacher.

i enjoyed this class.had him for math for business. no attendance. makes you figure out your mistakes, but gives hints. most classes you are on a chalkboard figuring out problems. i suck at math and i learned a lot because its very hands on.shitty jokes but good intentions
