Loved this professor! Lecture heavy, discussion based. Three exams and an essay. Unclear syllabus but easy to follow along and hes always willing to discuss after class. Knowledgeable about the subjects he teaches. Would take another class with him.

Comment:

Teaches very to the point. If you do not understand the lecture he is always available to talk after class or explain things further in class. Good professor overall.

Theilmann expects work from his students and is clear-cut. His classes are based more on participation than quantitativequalitative assignments. Only graded work was 3 essays and one presentation (which you had all semester to do) Disease and Society is a fantastic class, you learn every class.

Professor knows his information and knows it well. However, he makes students uncomfortable with lude comments, and creepy looks during class. He also does not like Model, SCSL, or other political groups on campus. I try to avoid his classes.

I took every history class I could from him. I think he is an amazing professor. Very libreal but still very good. My views were very different from his but I enjoyed every minute of class.

This class was within my major and he was briefly my advisor and i felt that he played favorites in class and was very vaugue about stuff. and WAY too easy. I learned nothing in the class basically.

This honors course was mostly discussion with 6 essays and 1 group proj. I found him easy because of the class's format, but I also learned a lot because of his format. Parts were challenging just b/c there was a lot of reading and science to go w/ it.
