Prof. Wist is honestly the best professor I've had. He knows the material very well, and is very good at teaching it and making sure that you understand and know how and where to apply it. Super cool guy to talk to as well. If you actually care about genuinely learning the material, take class with him. Going to class is important!

To have a chance in passing his class, you better either know your stuff before your in the course or you have to at least be in the program with a couple classes in MFGE under your belt. Dont let the no prerequisite requirement fool you. The grading scale will also work against you.

Great professor to have for the material science lab. You must show up. There are lab reports due every week, but he is very specific about what he is looking for. He is very hands-on. Always there to answer questions and help you explore the concepts learned in class. I'm very excited to take his MATL 341 class.

Wist is an excellent teacher. The best part about his class was that he printed out great notes that were very organized and concise so we didn't have to buy the extremely over priced book. I highly recommend taking him.

VERY INFORMATIVE CLASS, BUT A SURE WASTE OF MONEY. EVERYTHING YOU LEARN IN HERE WAS TAUGHT IN MFGT 150 OUR FRESHMEN YEAR. WIST IS PRETTY COOL. HE HAS A QUIZ EVERY WEEK WHICH SUCKS, BUT THERE SO EASY.

Wist is a good professor, but this class is a waste of time. It is a way for the MFGE department to suck in tuition money from MET and PDET students because the MFGE departemnt and professors suck so bad nobody goes for their degree. The only reason I went to class was for the daily quizzes, which are easy, but kill your grade if you miss them.

Wist is a pretty good professor, but the design for manufacturing class itself was horrible. The entire class is just a review and a waste of money. If you take this class and don't get at least an A- GET OUT OF THE ENGINEERING FIELD.

he always stared at me and only me....i couldnt concentrate because of it. He looks like grimace...maybe hes best friends with the hamburglar. Nick name...raptor man. overall though good teacher.
