Professor Brady was an awful professor. She went off topic numerous times and would interrupt students answering questions that she called on them for. Also, she is not the best with technology and had to be emailed by students to make assignments available every time. She never finishes her lectures and takes forever to grade. Dont take her class

Comment:

She's a wonderful woman but a bad teacher :/ Luckily, she gives you everything you need to exceed (she writes the notes for you and study guides are identical to exams). She often distracts herself in class with personal anecdotes which I would love if it wasn't a waste of time. She doesn't grade on independent thought, just exact memorization.

Comment:

Her lectures are long and boring and she gets off topic very easily. However, her class is pretty easy and she is very willing to push back deadlines. She also offers a lot of extra credit and creates outlines for the midterm and final. Definitely not the worst professor to have for an intro to theology class.

Comment:

Dr. Brady is one of the kindest teachers you will have at Fordham. You will read the books she tells you to buy, but she always provides notes to fill in as you read in order to help study. The midterm exam is very self-explanatory, and you review thoroughly in class prior to the exam. She is very approachable and goes off-topic to keep class fun.

Most boring class ever, you will only learn about her cat and will probably do no work. Three papers, a midterm, and a final. Homework is filling in notes from the readings for every class. Not an easy grader.

She was absolutely terrible. So boring and dry. She acts like a nice lady, but doesnt like to give As. Could barely hear her and when I did hear her she was talking about her cat.

Not a good professor at all. Could barely hear her and often went off topic. I had an 89.5 and she gave me a B+ after telling me that she would give me an A. No extra credit and tough grader. Acts like a sweet woman, but be careful.

Went off topic constantly, never really had worthwhile discussions in class. Thought it was going to be an easy A but she makes you memorize minute details from the textbook for the midterm and final and will take off points is its not exactly what the text said. I would this class if possible.

Dr. Brady is a very sweet woman-- yes, the lectures are boring and mandatory but you don't really have to pay attention to do well. We had 3 papers and she gave us huge outlines for the midterm and final that had all the information we needed on them. Overall, would take again and would recommend

Her entire class was focused around books written by other fordham theology professors. Class was all lectures and going over fill-in notes from the books. Participation is 25% and midterm/final are tough

Dr. Brady's class is actually an easy A. She outlines all readings for you and tells you exactly what you need to know for the midterm and final. Not a tough grader on papers. She's a sweet lady and can definitely get a little boring at times, but I didn't mind her class at all.

Try to take another professor. She is very nice and friendly but just not a good professor. Likes to ramble on about nothing, talk about her cat, or talks to the birds chirping outside (no joke). Class is really hard if you don't have prior knowledge about religion.

If you can, DO NOT TAKE. Her class is so boring. She doesn't teach. All she does is talk about her cat and life in the ministry. Honestly, do not take this class. She is the worst and she's so old and slow and takes forever to hand back essays. Don't say I did't warn you.

Sweetest woman ever. Very understanding & always willing to help. Her class may be long & boring, but she is clear about what she expects of you. Assignments are limited & very easy to ace. Her midterm & final study guides basically tell you exactly what is on the test, making those easy A's as well if you study. Easy A if you do the work.

Jbrady is probably the sweetest, cutest professor ever. She cares about her students a lot and takes them into consideration when assigning work. For example, we had a paper due on Friday and many students expressed that they were slammed so she moved it back till Monday. Undeniably, her class is sometimes not focused and a bit boring but take it!

Professor Brady is a wonderful lady but not a very good teacher. She takes what could be a cool discussion based class on religion and makes it boring. The books she chooses are difficult to understand and clearly subjective. She also never goes over the material and if she does she rambles and doesn't get to the point. Try to get another teacher
