It was a pretty straight forward class & a really nice professor however,Its a lot of work more than it needs to be.I had a "week"she gave us 4 days to due the readings which where anywhere from 2-4 articles that where about 4-6 pages long then you had to do a workbooks that where mini quizzes in each one plus two mini essays each week.

For a 3credit general ed. course, the amount of homework is WAY too much. The assignments setup is horrible as well, you have to do these 200-500 words weekly essay and then suddenly you the presentation to do which is 33% of your grade, and then a week after you have to write a major related paper which is also 33% and grades it very strictly.

She requires too much work to be done for such a random, 3-credit class. She made us write papers every week, there were lots of group projects/activities, and we had to read at least 3 research paper every week to write our papers on. Don't even take this class, PSYCH is so much more worth it. At least I learned something in psych.

Her class I super early and there is absolutely no point in going, but attendance is required. The class wasn't helpful at all, but is required. The discussion post take time, but I never read th required readings and still made an A. Her group project is so easy a 5th grader could do it. The class is easy, but very early and boring.

She is very enthusiastic but the weekly postings are redundant. She makes you write a paper related to your major which she harshly grades and it is 25% of your grade. Then another group project worth. 25% It is tooo much work for a 2 credit class. If all you think about is the environment then take her. If not I recommend someone else.

She's a great professor! Wish they could all be like her. You just follow her directions and participate in class and you get a B easy, an A if you do the extra credit(which is very easy).

If only every teacher was as enthusiastic as she was, college would be a blast. The book was rather boring and the weekly papers got quite redundant, but class was pretty fun. She sometimes instigated class discussions about things you'd never think about which was really cool. Plenty EC opportunities. Do one, and I guarantee you'll get an A.

I took the human tech class. The one page papers due each week got very annoying but they help your grade. I just skimmed the reading and then wrote the paper. A group project at the end was fairly simple.

Pop quizzes are no fun, but all the extra credit makes up for it. Passing the online quizes are more of a skill than actually knowing the material. Very good about answering emails. She'll make you seem stupid by what she writes on your papers ("I think you answered the question but didn't realize it".....????) but gives you a good grade anyway.

Always very helpful, even after you have finished her course. She is a great morning person, usually only teaching early classes. Her Syllabus's are the bible for the course. They tell you EVERYTHING you will be doing. Lots of Work which could be a good thing for those who like lots of grades. Online tests are hard and timed, KNOW THE MATERIAL BEFORE HAND!! only way to do good.

There are mini papers(1 pg, double-spaced) due every Monday over chapter readings. There is also a weekly online quiz. An immense number of extra credit is given, and the class is enjoyabe. She's VERY helpful, and actually teaches.
