Keith is amazing and I loved his class so much! He only grades things out of a few points, but you can always redo the hw and turn it back in. He cares about whether or not you understand the material and not as much about whether you get it right the first time. As long as you do the work and go to class, you'll be fine. His quizzes are open note!

Keith is a great professor, everyone who takes his classes seems to love him. It is a very relaxed environment, and all his classes are very similar style: easy homework, group quizzes, and take home finals. I will say, it might be hard to adjust to his teaching style because it is so relaxed, but its a nice break from the demanding classes. Easy A

He is a phenomenal professor! He listens to what the students say helps them remember the material and will spend more time on material if the students seem to be struggling. He even opened past due homework assignments so that students could receive credit if they did agreed to do the work.

Professor Oliver was so wonderful! He made physics as simple as he could for everyone and only taught you what you really needed to know. He gives practice exams that are pretty similar to the real exams which was super helpful in knowing what to expect. He is definitely the one you want out of all the possible professors for this class.

Keith is fantastic. Physics is hard. He tries hard to make everyone less anxious about it. There was no homework, just weekly take home quizzes. He gives a lot of partial credit, and he is super funny. I feel very lucky that I got him as a professor! He's awesome and cares so much!

I was very nervous to take this course considering physics is a difficult subject to begin with. However, Keith Oliver is very good at explaining the course material that the exams and homework were easy. He is probably the best physics professor this University has and I highly recommend him.

Prof. Oliver tasks students to come up with a portfolio and that is your only grade for the class. Lectures are not mandatory but they are very helpful, he does a great job explaining topics and is pretty entertaining. As long as you have met every objective in your portfolio, you get an A.

This class is different as there are no lectures but instead just group work. Your groups change half way through the semester so be prepared for that. He is willing to help if you don't understand something, so ask for help if you need it. The class isn't bad but you have to show up to understand anything that is going on. Open note tests/exams!

He's a nice guy, but this class is horrible. All group work and you learn things that are pretty much completely irrelevant to elementary science. I spent most of my time not understanding what was going on but somehow I got an A. Do your best to understand the material and you will be fine. Keith is very knowledgeable and passionate about science.

He is an overall great professor. This class is meant for group work and is self taught. So that aspect of the class gets really old after a while, but he is a great teacher and knows what he is talking about. Although he is a bit geeky, he is very funny and can relate to all of us. If you want to move a quiz to another day, he agrees right away.

The class is a little bit of a joke.. the biggest downfall is the constant group work, but as long as you have cooperative members you will be fine. It is all elementary, and although he does not usually answer questions.. there really arent that many to ask. He is a bit weird, but very, very nice and EXTREMELY flexible

Professor Oliver was a great prof. This class is different then most classes because it is self taught. He doesn't really answer your questions because he wants you to learn how to think on your own and bring this to your teaching. The class was all review from grade school and easy.
