Dr. Herring is a great teacher and knows a lot about the field of chemical dependence treatment. She is very knowledgeable and will help you with any questions that you have. You have to work hard to get an A in her class. Those who don't do well don't show up to class or don't do the work. She is recommended. Fair teacher too.

Discussions were sometimes interesting, but that was because of the students. She like many others said is very unorganized, do not respond to you in any way, do not give you back your exams. I really didn't have a clue why she was so unorganized. Didn't like her grading style either. Would never take her class again

She was highly unorganized and doesn't hand assignments back in a timely fashion. She does tend to go off the subject alot. However I found the class to be interesting and I'm going to take her again because it was worth it.

She isn't organzied, drones on for hours on end and is not interesting in the slightest. The work was not engaging or challenging. Doesn't respond to phone calls or e-mails. Exams were tough and even though every student complained, she barely changed them.
