Mr. Liotta was the best! I hated English and writing in general, but found myself loving this class- I took all of his others! He is very understanding and really cares about his profession and his students. A cool teacher that reminds you of a hippie- definitely one of the best at FAU.

I could never understand what he was talking about. He would tell you to read one thing and he would talk about something completely different. He has a great heart and cares about his students but make sure he knows your name and you participate a little our class sucked at participating and he was fed up with us but didn't fail anyone luckily!

This teacher is great! he is very nice, funny, his teaching methods are really laid back and he will help you out alot! We wrote 3 papers and watched movies in class and i got an A- in the class. Not only is it an easy class but it was a very eye opening class where you could get alot out of it! oh yea another thing participate in class lectures!

One of the most effective teachers at FAU. Class is very easy as long as you do all of your work and Professor Liotta is very understanding and will work with you along the way to get an A

Liotta is a very nice guy sometimes a little weird but just show up to class and build a relationship with him and you will 100% get an A. Respect is his big thing so don't let him see you on your phone or sleeping. Very relaxed about work you can always turn it in late or redo something. Stay after class a few times and just talk to him. Take him!

Finally a teacher who sympathizes and understands college students that are pressed for time with other classes that are more pertinent to their majors. Communication is key with this professor, so unless you can't speak, then there is no reason why you shouldn't do well in his class.

My favorite professor ever...yes he is a little odd but youll learn to love him... you will practically never write papers...he hates the whole writing department so he'll give you prompts that are 100 times easier then other 1102 classes TAKE HIM!!!!

Great guy, he really cares about the students. Took him in the Fall and got an easy A. He barely assigns any papers and if he does he gives you plenty of time to finish them.

I had professor liotta for ENC 1102 in spring 2008, and i am currently taking him for LIT2030 (Interpretation of poetry). He is simply the best professor i have had and i think i will have, he is really cool and i think has an excellent sense of humor. I did not need poetry for my major but his teaching style and inspiration led me to my decision o

mixed feelings abt this prof.. hes very nice and tries to be funny.. but hes also disorganized and a little odd.. his lessons are all over the place.. didn't really learn much of anything.. but the assignments are easy to bulls*it.. and he takes forever to collect things.. take him for an easy A but don't expect to learn alot

Don't take this class if you do not play a sport. He favors those who play sports for the University. The class requires group work. You may get stuck with a group of lazy people and have to do all the work as there are a lot of them. Assignments are pointless but easy if you are good at BS'ing. Dont take him if you want to learn anything.

THIS GUY IS THE RAW! He really helps you try to understand everything he teaches. Guranteed an A if you just try. He cares for his students and is quite funny. Dont be thrown off by his looks or his actions , he definetly knows what he is talking about. Plus he kind of looks like Sean Connery in the Rock, or Willie Nelson.

One of the best at FAU. Truly cares about his students and there lives. Gets angry at his students sometimes, but only because he cares and wants them to succeed.

Awesome, passionate, and caring professor. Professor Liotta goes over and above to make sure every student understands what he is lecturing about. I HATED poetry and knew nothing about it (nor wanted to). Professor Liotta opened my eyes to a whole new world and taught me that poetry really does have meaning. TAKE HIS CLASS! AWESOME GUY!!!
