He's a very nice man, but he is the worst instructor I've ever had. By far. He barely speaks English, and teaches one of the hardest classes students are required to take. He makes the logic proofs harder than they need to be. Someone from my class complained to the dean about him, and the dean sat in on our class.

Worst.Teacher.Ever.By.Far. Runner up light years behind. Barely speaks English after 8 years of practice and teaches one of the most difficult subjects to learn. This is NOT a good combination. STAY AWAY.

Levis was a character. His accent was difficult to understand at times, but he understood this about himself, and was always willing to repeat things. Very helpful, and useful feedback on papers.

Zerpa was a really smart and nice guy. He really seemed to care about the material and stimulated my interest in logic. I hadn't taken any logic classes, and I easily picked up everything we studies in 320 without any problem because of his teaching.

Rough class. He's very hard to understand at first but it doesn't get much easier. Not only is the topic difficult but he seems to make it harder than it should be. The book is a lifesaver.

Ok so you can't really understand what the man says...but he will boost your test grades and gives a 5 pts added to ur final grade extra credit paper. His tests tho are pretty much either u know it or are completely screwed.

Zerpa is damn idiot. He parades around the classrom speaking Spanglish and writing cursive Logic proofs on the board. If asked a question he ponders for a few moments and goes about his business like no question was asked. If at all possible, stay away from Zerpa as a section teacher.

Speaks only in Spanish. Hard at first to understand, but easier as semester goes on. Make sure to go to class every day to get participation points. Nice class!
