She's really nice and helpful, but the subject is hard. If you have a question, she'll help you. She never makes you feel like you're dumb. She's lenient on grading homework. Attendance isn't mandatory, but you should go every class in order to pass. I'm taking her again for ACC 2033.

Comment:

Accounting is a difficult subject to understand but Professor Milam truely does try to help. Notes wont help, homework helps some. Just make accounting your life or be born smart!

Comment:

Very hard class, but great professor! She made everything easier to understand & she always took her time teaching the material... I knew people taking accounting with other professors & they were either failing or had already dropped because their professors didn't "dumb it down". With milam, hard work, and lots of studying, I got a B. TAKE HER!

She is very nice and laid back, but she covers a lot of content in a very short class period. During the semester she tends to get consumed in her grading and can?t find time to help students who have questions. She doesn?t help students who make a valid effort to improve the grades.

She is a great accouting teacher compared to the other ones. She is very laid back and doesn't over complicate things. Accouting is a hard class and take up a lot of time. If you have to take the class, she is the Professor you want!!

Comment:

Accounting is NOT an easy subject but she is a really helpful professor. You work for your grade, so to anyone who receives a failing grade you MOST LIKELY didn't complete all the work. A lot of homework, in class quizzes, 3 projects, and 4 tests. The key to passing this class is to study and attend class. You'll do fine!

Incredible professor, so glad she's back at UTSA. If you're going to take Accounting, take her. She will make it seem crystal clear and very easy. She also has a great sense of humor, and isn't afraid to point it out if she made an error.

She was a nice woman but moved to Wyoming. I'm so bad at ACC classes but I got a C in this one. Much better then Skekle (sp?) who I had for Acc 1. Open and multiple choice questions on reg. tests. All Multiple choice on the final. Chapter homework which takes a while sometimes but it's good for learning and gets you points.

The class is very interesting, and she explains the concepts very well, even do lot of problems at class. Lots to study, and homeworks are good. But the tests are hard. Esp the final exam was very HARD, i dropped from a high A to B, so study hard, and be focused, prepare very well for the exams, u will do fine.

Comment:

Good prof. The homework is fairly easy and the tests aren't bad, just make sure you study ALL of her notes because she doesn't necessarily test over the most important things that you'll actually use later on. In otherwords, don't over emphasize the problem because concepts are worth just as much.
