This class was great. It was very discussion based. He frequently gives written assignments. We had 2 tests and a final but it might not be the same for you. You'll learn how your knowledge can be applied in the real world.

Comment:

Dr. Naeher is an awesome teacher! He is very helpful and his class is all discussion based. He is very knowledgable. Make sure you keep up with the random readings he assigns as he gave weekly quizzes. His tests are primarily short answer. If you go to class and do the readings you should be set.

Comment:

His class isn't what I expected. I thought we were going to talk about regulations and laws that govern how we maintain our air quality. Instead he is using the class as a forum to talk about his research on the other side of the Earth. Then the proposal he has us writing is hard because we don't have the basic foundation to write about the topic.

He is a great guy but his class was not very interesting to me. The tests were not bad but you had to know what you were talking about. Not the best lecturer but he tries.

Comment:

Dr. Naeher is an extremely kind human being and very knowledgeable. Unfortunately, he is also slow and sometimes unclear in his presentations and we frequently ran out of time to cover material in class that would be on tests. He also changed the format of our exams no less that 3 times. A REALLY nice guy though and the class is interesting too

Great professor. Gives out full powerpoints and tests are easy if you pay attention. No reason to not get an A.
