Mrs. Peterson was such a sweetheart! She is very kind and willing to go above and beyond to help her students. She gives very easy writing prompts and helps you structure them in class. I got 100's on every paper and I'm not the best writer. Would love to take her class again!

Comment:

I was very nervous about taking this class because I hate essays, but Mrs. Peterson made it simple! You have 3 essays, occasional (but simple) homework, a midterm, and a final. Both the midterm and the final she allowed us to work on prior to taking and even allowed us to bring a note card of notes for the final. She is very kind and helpful. :)

Professor Peterson is very nice and understanding. You have to be on time for class when quizzes or given or u will not be able to take it.

Mrs peterson was one of the best teachers I've had in a long time, she is super cool about turning things in late if your honest, she gives a lot of essays but definitely enough time to do them as well as tons of chances for u to meet with her and discuss anything. Definitely some work but an amazing, helpful, smart,nice, explanatory, teacher.

I've never met a professor more dedicated to students or the subject more. If you have a question she has an answer. She does not tolerate BS from students and is not shy on deducting points for late work. She gives long lectures but on stuff to help you get better grades. Better have the book you will use it.

I've always liked writing. So, this being my first English class as a freshman for me was to my advantage since writing was one of my strengths. Her topics were for the most part, TRASHY. She was really unclear also. Can't change that so just take it and deal with it. It I would have came to this site before I personally wouldn't have chosen her.

She was very interactive with the class but did not do a good job of keeping order This is not all her fault there was alot of very immature students. There is 3 papers 2 timed in class papers and a timed final. I got A's on all three papers with little time put in. Just use the right format for them and you will be golden. Wish she taught ENC 1102

She's a nice teacher but her directions are unclear sometimes & her writing topics are trash. You have to do a lot of writing so be prepared for staying up late nights finishing papers & lots of time in the library. I got a good grade in the class so I would say take her i guess...shes not the best teacher but she's not the worst its a toss up idk

Ms. Peterson is so sweet she really loves teaching and you can tell. You have to write multiple essays but she gives you class time and sources to use in your essay. Says you can miss only six classes a semester but doesn't seem to care if you are not there as long as you get all work done. Never any tests and FInal was incredibly easy. Take her.

Very fair teacher, but you basically have an essay to write every week which most of the time are pretty simple. As long as you show up to class its nearly impossible to not get an A

Great teacher. She's enthusiastic about what she teaches and keeps her lecture at high interest level. The class consist of four essays and a final exam essay. Highly recommend!

Such a sweet teacher! She gave a total of 4 essays and of course the exam essay. she is willing to help you anytime! She helps you with the essay in class. Class is mandatory sometimes. She posts info on blackboard so you know what happened in class if you miss and what the future classes will have!

If you are mediocre at writing essays - this class is a cake walk. This class is more similar impressing a judge rather than improving your writing. She is more impressed with thought than technical strength. Her opinions and moodiness often got frustrating, but it wasn't a deal breaker. There are better teachers-but if you just want the A-perfect.

Comment:

She is a very good teacher. She helps with work and will tell what needs to be fixed. If you get a bad grade, she allows you to rewrite it and turn it in again. She takes assignments step by step so it is spaced out instead of students waiting till the last minute to do everything. I recommend taking her class if you want to pass.
