She made my first semester of college amazing. She is one of the best people that I have ever met! she's caring and very down to earth. She makes you feel comfortable and confident in class. We had a lot of papers to write in class but they were very short and easy. I would strongly recommend her to anyone! Be nice and respectful and you'll be ok!

Of you are looking for a good professor to take for communication, look no further! Dr. Orr is an amazing professor who helped make speaking infront of the class so much easier and less frightening. We did many fun activities during class as well. Made the class feel like a family. I recommend taking her if you have the chance.

This class makes learning more interesting. It's an easy A, all you have to do is participate, do the assignments, complete projects and pass an easy test. She is the best, she's caring, fair and funny. You will get something out of it, your communication skill will improve especially public speaking because of all the hands on activity.

Dr. Orr is fantastic when it comes to public speaking. In my class of 25, she got through to every student and thanks to her, we made friendships & felt like a family. If 2630 is a requirement or an elective towards a minor, take it with her. You'll become a better speaker and have some great laughs along the way. If you fail, it's your fault.

Very easy class, but I didn't really learn anything. Don't buy the book, there is one test and she tells you everything that's on it. Hand in the assignments every week, participate, presentations are easy, you will pass without a problem. However I would choose another professor if I had to retake the class.

Hands down my favorite professor! She is excellent. She teaches you exactly what you need to know and tells you exactly what will be on the test (only one was given). She is hilarious and is an easy grader. HIGHLY recommend!

If you have to take a COMM class, take Dr. Orr! She's so nice and always ties in what you're learning into real life situations. Gives you the powerpoints and makes the test in front of the class. There was a paper due every week but they took 30 mins each,if that. Only 2 tests (easy As) and 2 speeches (one is the final). Best experience ever!

Professor Orr is a phenomenal teacher that I would recomend to every student in commuications. The class is easy to grasp but not childishly simple. Although I had her class at 8 AM I was eager to attend her class because it was entertaining as well as helpful to my public speaking skills. She helps boost confidence in her students which is amazing

Professor Orr is such a great teacher! Taking public speaking with her was so easy and fun, she made 8 AMs enjoyable. I got an A+ in her class, and any of the workpresentations I had to do were fun and easy... I hated public speaking and now I really don't mind it at all, because of this class! I definitely recommend taking this class!

LOVED HER! Best Professor I've had yet. Very enthusiastic. Did not like the idea of taking Public Speaking, but I have no fear since I took her class. This should have been one of the first classes I took in college so all the presentations in the other classes were easier! Would recommend!

Great class! I took her 8 am class my first semester at willy p! Did not regret it one bit. The textbook was only used for some homework assignments. She clearly tells you what she expects from her students. Also tells you the answers for her exams the week before. Definitely take her!

The worst professor. She's very disorganized and doesn't keep up with grading and changes things last minute. You think you're doing well in her class, but you're actually not. She doesn't know what she's doing honestly. Don't take her, she's confusing smfh. SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE.

I have taken Lynne twice now, she is also my advisor-& I have no complaints. She knows how to push her students and make them do well in class. She is a great comm professor and good in the pool(i have her for aquatics).Shes just a genuine and great caring person. One of the best professors at WPU! Must take! even at 8am shes great! This was one of my favorite classes last semester and it was on a saturday morning but she kept the class lively & fun. Professor Orr is an excellent professor. Do you're assignments, presentations, speeches , and paper and you'll get a good grade, I got an A.

She does too much textbook work for a public speaking class $91 for a useless book. The book she makes the class use doesn't teach anything useful. She's a nice lady but doesn't understand that teaching shouldn't come from book.
