Oh Frau. Where to begin? This woman is the head of the German department for a reason. The class is organized down to the tee. She is phenomenal. Though you meet 4 days a week, it won't feel like a drag to go to class because Frau makes it so enjoyable. Take any and every class with Frau Gonglewski. You will not be disapointed, I PROMISE.

Super amazing professor. Went in very scared to take a language (not really a good language learner) but she walks you through everything really well and always makes sure you understand before moving on. You will be expected to participate and do homework and there are quizes frequently but if you keep up with the class you will have no problem.

I couldn't have been luckier! Professor Gonglewski is not only enthusiastic about teaching, but she wants you to succeed! A wonderful professor and person. One of the best professors at GW. Try and take one of her classes or at least meet her!

Fraaauuuuuu! She is wonderful. She leaps around and makes faces and is way helpful. She uses random examples (ex. a guy wearing a kilt standing on a rock) to help you remember things. Favorite teacher this year!

Frau G is awesome!! Great language teacher..she tells you about etymology and english/german similarities..plus you get a lot of extra info and she has days devoted to internet (german sites) and music (german songs), every week. The tests are from the book so they're very easy too. Fun class!!! I walked out happy every day

One of the best teachers I have ever had. She's always understanding, always in a good mood (or she cover's well), always receptive to students. She makes you want to learn for learnings sake. She is so good, that you want to do well not just for you, but to not let her down either.

Gonglewski is awesome. She's so enthusiastic about the German language, so she's perfect to have early in the morning. She also has an amazing sense of humor and will always crack a joke. She is always in a good mood, and if she's not, she covers well.
