I took the class as an elective and it was so hard. There are only two tests and the final and opportunities for extra credit but those assignments are not easy. The lectures are very hard to stay engaged with, but since there is no homework all the tests are based on the lectures. He is very nice and willing to help but one bad grade and ur done.

Although exams are the only real thing being graded, there is a lot of extra credit that can be taken advantage of. Lectures are entertaining with valuable information as well. Pasqualetti has a lot of weight to his name, so it would be good to get close to him and possibly get a recommendation if pursuing energy, politics, etc.

Y'all, Pasqualetti is the dude. Hilarious, super informative, and just all around badass. I thoroughly enjoyed taking this class. The trips were so awesome too! Definitely reaffirming for why I went to school in the first place. Very passionate about this field so take the chance to pick his brain! You won't regret it!

Just show up to his class and listen to what he's saying. He gives GREAT lectures so it shouldn't be hard to stay entertained. Study guides are decent but you really need to be in his lectures to pass the exams. Your grade just exams and some extra credit, no work.

The class is only made up of 3 tests: 2 tests and a final. 100 points for each teach, 200 for the final. You can earn 25 extra credit points. You really have to like this subject to do well on the tests though. I averaged Cs on the test and only got a B- because of extra credit and because the final is made up of previous test questions verbatim.

Paqualetti taught an interesting class that kept me engaged pretty much every day. Grade is made of 2 tests and a final that has the same questions as the first 2 tests. Lots of opportunities for extra credit which gave me an A+. Show up to class and listen and you won't need to study much.

I had him for a semester and still never learned how to pronounce his name. This class is very lecture and test heavy. The lectures are semi-interesting but he is very funny and entertaining. There was only 3 exams in the grade book, so you have to do well. Lots of extra credit opportunities that cause me to get an A. Final is from previous exams.

Professor Pasqualetti is a great! His lectures were interesting and he is hilarious. He gives quite a bit of extra credit. I highly recommend doing as many as you can (20 points total) to help boost your grade. Exams were fair but the study guides are bogus. They do not help much for the exams. Lectures aren't mandatory but recommended.

Dr. Pasqualetti is a great professor, and I really loved this class. I'm not a sustainability major, but he made the class really fun, and I did not feel that I was behind at all entering the class. Do extra credit (attend talks during the semester), and review a lot for the tests (which are mostly easy) and you will do well.

Professor Pasqualetti was a good teacher and through humor definitely made learning in his class more enjoyable. However, when it came to the end of the year and final grades came in it was clear that professor Pasqualetti was not a very reasonable person. Not even rounding up grades a quarter of a point and not explaining why this was such.

Dr. Pasqualetti's class was very straightforward and quite easy. All of the tests were multiple choice, and half of the questions were common sense. The books he gave us only showed up in a couple of questions on the tests. Just pay attention in class and you'll do fine. He also offers pretty easy extra credit that can really boost your grade.

Pasqualetti is a great teacher. He has extensive knowledge of the subjects, though he can ramble sometimes. He made geography really interesting for me, I would definitely take another class of his!

Nice guy and knows his stuff, but horrible teacher. Very difficult to take notes off of his lectures as he rambles on about personal stories about himself and then picks up in some random spot. 3 tests make up your grade, so if you are not good at tests, I would not take this class. I am a geography major and will NEVER take his classes again.

He is very intelligent and has a lot of practical knowledge on the subject. The grade is made up of 3 tests (the 3rd one is a cumulative final. Most qs on the test are from the lecture and the PPs, so I would suggest going to the lecture. He had barely any questions on the test from the few small books we were supposed to read.I loved the class!

Really great Professor and class. Had to take this class as part of my science and society credit, but turned out to be my favorite class of the semester. He has 3 tests, which he curves. He also gives out extra credit which can bring you up a whole letter grade. Tests can be kinda hard though. Would take again

There were a lot of facts and subjects covered in the class, and you have to remember a good level of detail for the tests. Not an easy A, if you're not interested in the subject, don't take this class. Thorough coverage of all things having to do with energy and the environment. Prof. P knows his stuff. End of semester field trip was awesome.

If you like Johnny Carson, you'll love this professor. Must go to class, the review Q&A at the start of each class are the test questions. Study the 1st 2 exams for the final. Read everything & pay attention to do well in this class. The lectures are interesting & entertaining. He's not a fan of the students who raise their hand every class.

Martin is a pretty good teacher. He lectures and is pretty funny which would always add interest. There are 3 tests and the last test is most of the questions from the previous two tests. I would take this professor again.
