Comment:

She's a really sweet lady but can not and I repeat can not explain or teach anything clearly. She talks too much and overcomplicates everything. Everyone is confused in her class, no one has an idea of what is going on or where she gets numbers from. If you have her as a prof, just read the textbook that is the only way you'll understand a thing.

A bit disorganized but overall a good teacher. Gives plenty of material to use to study for tests and is very helpful when it comes to explaining problems.

Absolute sweet heart, but she is so unorganized and never knows what she is doing. She doesn't get her students engaged in class. She also has all of her notes available for students before class begins, but always goes out of order doing the notes. She gives quizes every week, homework every week, and I always have to teach myself the topics.

Makes class enjoyable, very quick to respond to emails! Goes out of her way to help! Completely fair grader and very understandable! Tests are easy if you study Wonderful asset to MC. Also, wonderful club supervisor attended all the events that she could make and always advertised our events to her class and the school. Got us, great speakers!

Great teacher. Very experienced in accounting and finance in regards to both teaching and working in the financial services industry. Her classes will always be somewhat difficult since understanding accounting and the things she has to teach is not a walk in the park. She however makes things very clear and as painless as possible!

She is unorganized and all over the place but its EXTREMELY nice. She grades less than she assigns so you don't even have to do all the assignments. Difficult topic however.

Dr. Michel is very fun, energetic, and cares about the success of her students. Class time is somewhat disorganized, but her tests are super easy and she offers one exams worth of extra credit points. Lots of HW, Excel, Quizzes, etc., but all online and simple. If you can do some learning on your own and are willing to put in work, I recommend her.

GREAT professor!! She's very sweet and knows her stuff. She explains well but if you don't understand her you can use the book/e-book (which is great and very clear!). She gives extra credits and does an example of the problem before she assigns it for HW. Tests are fair and you will do fine if you review what she tells you to. MUST TAKE!

Definitely take this class. Michel is very outgoing and gives ridiculous amounts of extra credit. Class can be extremely boring at times, especially if you teach yourself online which is the best way to learn the course, but it's not awful. If you do the HW and practices tests on Wiley, easy A. Without Wiley class might be tough though...

Comment:

Michel is an extremely nice woman. However, she is unorganized and moves very quickly. Tests are very confusing, and I ended up teaching myself the material. However, gives a lot of (much needed) extra credit, so she makes it easy to do well. Loved her as a person, not so much as a professor.

She is a great teacher and does give you a lot of opportunities for extra credit. She does go quickly but gives handouts of all the slides she goes over. Her tests are worded ridiculously hard and are very confusing, but she is one of the best in the acct department. Take her if you want to learn.
